Pidge POV
The headache was coming back. I looked at the table I was at, wondering for a second where I was.
"So, the planet is Galra free, and the people are very willing to help us. Pidge has most of the other info, though." This statement caused all the heads around the table to swivel to me.
For a small second, I panicked, not remembering who they were. But then I noticed the colors.
Yellow. The big one's name was Hunk.
Red. That was Keith.
"Pidge? You okay?" Asked the one who had said I had information. He was also one of the ones I hadn't identified yet. He was dressed in black, and had a white floof of hair. It starts with an 'S', I thought.
"Hello.... Space to Pidge." Hunk waved a hand in front of my face.
I started. "Sorry, what were you guys saying? I kind of spaced out."
"Shiro was just telling us you had information about the people of the planet." Said a man with a bright orange mustache.
This one was easier, and came right to my mind. Coran.
"Oh. Well ummmmmm...." I looked around for my laptop, anything that could help me figure out what I was supposed to know. "My laptop seems to be missing." I murmured as I got out of my chair.
"Why would you need your laptop?" Asked one in blue. It took me a second, then I remembered the ocean. Lance.
"It has all of the information."
"You didn't have your laptop when we went to the planet."
He had me there. I couldn't even remember what day it was. There was awkward silence in the room.
"Well, I'm glad to know that that planet is free of Galra clutches." Said a woman with long white hair, breaking the silence.
"So are we." Said the man with the white floof. Shiro. That's what his name was!!
I turned my head back to the woman with white hair. Allura.
"Well, I'm going to go get some sleep." Lance yawned and a stretched.
"Me too." I said. We stood up at the same time and walked back to our rooms.
"Night, Pidge." He gave me an odd look.
"Night." Ignoring it, I walked to my room, turning my head to watch the door close behind me.
••••••••••••••••(Flash back to 2 days ago)
"Now remember, this is a reconnaissance mission. In and out. No problems."
"You say that like you expect something to happen, Shiro." I said, trying to hold back a laugh.
"Haven't you been here long enough to know that something always goes wrong?" Asked Hunk.
"Touché."
One hour later
"Pidge, leave the plants, let's go!!!!"
"Coming!!" Turning around, I came face to face with a skunk looking creature. We stared at each other, and then he turned tail, sprayed me with some sort of mist, and ran away.
I spluttered, and fell onto my backside. Smelling myself, I smelled normal. Not like a skunk back on Earth. I shrugged. I guess it was nothing.
I ran to my lion, and hopped in, following the others back to the castle.
"What did everyone find?" Asked Shiro over the comms.
"A couple new plants, but other than that, nothing." said Hunk.
"Same here."
"Yup."
"Pidge?"
"Nothing here." I wanted to find out what that thing was before I freaked them all out. They all go into "big brother mode" whenever I do something, like scratch my arm, or say encounter a weird animal like today.
What was that thing?? I felt fine, I maybe had the beginnings of a headache, but that's what happens when you stay up all night, trying to decode a strange language like Galran.
••••••••••••••
(End of flashback)
My fingers danced along the screen of an Altean tablet I'd had in my room, acting like I had known the language for my entire life.
I was looking for anything that would help me figure out what that thing was.
Nothing. I had tried everything I could think of, but apparently, Alteans didn't have skunks, so it was hard to describe the strange animal/alien.
A knock came to my door.
"Pidge? Can I come in?"
"Sure, Hunk."
He opened the door, and I squinted at the bright light. Most of the time it was pretty dark in my room, and it was a wonder that Matt had needed the glasses and not me.
As my eyes adjusted to the light, I noticed all the others also standing outside my door. They all looked kind of worried.
"Are you coming? We discussed yesterday about training this morning."
"Oh, yeah. I'm coming."
I stood up, and wobbled a bit, the headache from last night coming back and making me dizzy. Hunk steadied me, and we headed to the training deck.
When we got there, we split into teams of two, each team going up against a level 4 gladiator. I was with Lance. He gave me that same odd look, but said nothing. We watched as the other two teams (Hunk and Keith, and Shiro and Allura) both beat their separate gladiators, and then it was our turn.
We stood up, and Lance kept going, but my feet seemed glued to the floor. Was the room supposed to spin?
My common sense told me it wasn't, but by the time my brain registered that, my head had already hit the floor.

Hey guys, just a little author's note: this is a sort of AU where Pidge starts to lose her memory. If you don't like this story, then don't read it! I am relatively new to writing stories on Wattpad, so I am okay with you giving me some POSITIVE feedback. This is also my first fan fiction, and I recently started watching Voltron. Thanks,
Ash Cardley (or just Ash)
