Lonliness

It was almost two weeks since Mon-el landed on earth after spending years in warm hole. It was hard for him to accept that his planet, his home, parents and people are all gone.
He was trying hard after Kara talked to him and made him understand that this is our new home, and we are refugees on this planet, its better we must accept it.
Mon-el was not having place to live so he was still staying in DEO.
As the days are passing he was getting used to the daily earthly duties and apart from this he was observing kara as Supergirl, who was not from this planet too but how she enjoyed her human family, that inspired Mon-el to an extend.

He wanted to be friends with kara, but he was scared that Kara will never accept him close to her as their planets really didn't got along very well when they existed; so Mon-el intended that its better he don't try.

Apart from this, kara being kara, started caring Mon-el the way she cared for her friends and everyone else.
She noticed Mon-el daily as she went to visit him in his chamber, he was lost and lonely, she knew that he was feeling lonely and abandoned, and really is in need of someone. Though kara knew that Mon-el being the Daxamite prince, might never accept her presence around him, so becoming friends with him was really a great task to her. Yet she had to try as she knew how it was to be to land on a stranger planet and to be surrounded by around strangers and she didn't wanted anyone else to feel the same.
Henceforth, one fine morning...
When Mon-el was sitting in her chamber, looking outside the window..
"hey...Mon-el.. Good morning"
Kara greeted Mon-el by giving him the half one sided smile, as she didn't knew how else to start the conversation.
Mon-el turned towards after hearing kara replied followed with a mild smile;
"Oh hey kara, good morning."
They both looked at each other as kara stood at the entrance of the chamber with a tray in hands with two mugs of freshly brewed coffee.
"Can I come in....?? Or...r..."
Kara asked Mon-el as he didn't say a word after greeting her.
"Oh yes.. Real sorry..."
(Arranging sheets and pillow on the bed) "..I ....I...never had any visitor here so far so... Yeah you can come in now."
Kara smiled looking at Mon-el..as she felt pity on him.
"Thank you."
"Mon-el."
"Here is some coffee..I thought it might be great start for the day..to...the talk.."
Kara grasped as she said.. And kept the mugs tray on the small teapoy next to the bed.
"Shouldn't you be doing your supergir-ling... Saving the world thing??"
Mon-el asked kara in a surprise as he saw her out every morning doing little of hero stuff.
"Oh.. Yeah.. But its not every morning that... I flew whole city seems to be a normal day... I helped few people earlier... Now all is great.."
Kara replied Mon-el in confused tone.
"Oh sounds like you can relax a bit"
Mon-el said to kara as he sipped his coffee.
"So....." He added.
"Soo.... Its this thing Mon-el..
I've been noticing you that since you got here.. I mean not since you got, but since you came to know about your home, your planet... You are just... Depressed sought of.. Locked your self in..you hardly come out, I mean you don't come out at all..
What is it...? Are you scared of us, or ....
I mean you could make some friends you know.."
As kara talked, Mon-el nodded
"You have Winn, he might accompany you.. James and J'onn and..."
"And...you?? I mean I know our planets , our people had these grudges,but that's long gone now..."
Mon-el said by interrupting kara
"Yes, me obviously..."
"...If you want to."
Kara continued..
"you know.. Its just that... you are not alone here... Mon-el..we all are here for you... You need to socialise, go out, party... Make some friends..and..."
"Its great to know you...you'll are with me...thank you..kara"
Mon-el replied kara;
As kara leaned her hand out...
"So...FRIENDS?"
"yeah sure...FRIENDS!"
Mon-el replied, as they did a little hand shake.
"OK, so I need to go..."
Kara said by looking at the watch she was wearing;
"Cat will slice me if I don't reached catco in next... 2 mins.."
"Cat who???..."
Mon-el questioned confusingly.
"Oh cat grant, my boss in catco, where I work as a reporter"
Kara replied Mon-el..
"Ohh"
"Mon-el it was great becoming friends with you..
If you need me, you know where to find me..."
Kara added as she took steps towards the door..
"Yeah...it was great becoming your frie...."
As Mon-el was still saying...
Kara flew from the window.. Ripping her shirt off..
"And you flew..."
Mon-el nodded...
