Karamel- We Were Destined

Evening together

That day after Kara left for catco,
Mon-El was quite happy. He came out from his chamber for the first time ever, and seen talking to winn or just taking a walk around.
He actually waited for evening to come and so he can meet kara, and have some time with her. He looked kara the whole DEO but couldn't find her.

Kara as usual, was on the rooftop, little guarding the city, missing her home and same time dealing with thousand things running across in her mind;
When Mon-El open the roof door and kara turned towards.
"Kara.."
Mon-El greeted.
"Hey Mon-El..you found me"
Kara added.
"Yes, I found you."
Mon-El replied kara.
"How did you know I will be here??"
Kara questioned Mon-El in confusion.
"You told me earlier today, if I need you, I know where to find you."
He added quickly after a few seconds pause
"So, I searched you entire DEO and you were not there... So i thought you might be here.."
Mon-El added by offering kara a mug of hot chocolate
"..and I got you hot chocolate...thought you might be exhausted after saving the city and stuff.."
"That's so sweet of you Mon-El.."
"Thank you"
Kara added with a soft smile on her lips.
Kara didn't seems to be happy, though she pretended. Mon-El thought that he must have interrupted something.
"Oh my Rao, did I disturbed you.. Is this the right time to... Or shall I ....??"
"No Mon-El..wait.."
"Its not you..its just..."
Kara added with a nod.
"Come on ... Say it... You can talk to me.. I'm here for you"
Mon-El added in a comforting tone.
"I miss home Mon-El..
Every single day, I come up here, look up and think of krypton..
Though i'm here, with worlds best sister and adopted mother...
I just..."
"I don't know..."
Kara nodded with sadness in her eyes.
"Hey listen, I never been a good comforter before but, I'm gonna say this to you.
I'm here if you need me.. To talk or share anything..
I might not be a great advice giver but can promise you that I will be great listener"
Mon-El said by holding Kara's hand
"Thank you Mon-El.."
Kara said by staring at Mon-El
"And since our homes, our people are gone, this is our home now, and you atleast got a nice family, a sister, friends who are like family, you don't have to be so depressed.. I mean i know, you miss krypton the way i miss daxam... But we have to accept it... You told me this, and I'm on it..trying.."
Mon-el added by explaining to kara.
Kara was amazed, after heating mon-el's words..
She looked at mon-el intensively before she smiled.
"What??.. Did I say something wro..wrong.."
"I mean I am still learning earth language...and feelings..and..."
Mon-El added in hesitation.
"No no.. Mon-El..
You didn't say anything wrong.."
"Its just that its funny how this morning I told you that I'm here for you and actually you proved to be there for me...
I never knew you would be so much understanding..."
"Well someone is changing.."
Kara added.
"Guess so.."
"Everyday since I know you, I've seen you being supergirl doing so much to these people..
You are an inspiration kara"
Mon-El added.
"Thank you.. Mon-El ...
This means a lot.."
Kara added before hugging Mon-El.
"Well, now if you are not depressed, you can have your hot chocolate...which is actually now cold chocolate.."
Mon-El added in a humorous way
"Hahahaaa... Mon-El you are unbelievable.."
Kara laughingly patted Mon-El's back, as she sipped the chocolate.
"Hey you know something,
I read that chocolate releases happy hormones so you should have it even more.."
Mon-El added in a more goofy tone.
"Rao.. Mon-El you are...just.."
Kara couldn't hold her laugh on Mon-El's hilarious tips
"What?? Come on at least I made you laugh.. The whole idea was that"
He added in more funny tone.
"Hey by the way Mon-El , you wanted to share something with me right??"
Kara asked Mon-El as she remembered
"Yeah, may be tomorrow..
Seems like we have lot of time.."
Mon-El said as he smiled.
"Okay.. Sure, we have lot of time to share"
Kara added.

Kara and Mon-El spend the whole evening together that day, talking about ample of things... Glazing at the stars, taking about various aliens and stuff.
It was very surprising to see kara and Mon-El became friends even after they had lot of difference among their planets.
Along with Mon-El, kara was happy too that she got a new buddy in Mon-El.
