It was evening and all Kara's closest, Alex, Winn, Lena, J'onn and James gethered in her loft; Alex invited Maggie too but she couldn't make it due to something urgent. And Since Alex invited Mon-el, he keeping faith on Alex, decided to come.
Everyone were enjoying the party. Alex and Kara were in the kitchen, serving snacks; Lena was with James, Winn was handling the music and J'onn was sitting on couch and watching everyone as he sipped the mug of hot coffee.
And door bell rang... Kara wondered who could it be, since everyone were already there. For a instant he thought it might be Clark.
"Hold on Alex... I will attend it..." Kara stopped Alex who was approaching to open the door, as she knew it was Mon-el.
"Oh..okay..." She replied and bit her lower lip terrifyingly, looking at Winn who was looking back at her with tab in his one hand and beer bottle into another
Kara opened the door and found Mon-el standing infront of her..
"You...!!!"
"What are you doing here??" Kara exclaimed angrily
"And who invited you??" She further added.
"I came for the dinner Kara, you invited everyone and you think I wont know about it.." he smiled
"You are not invited here Mon-el... Go away... Spend holidays with your new girlfriend..." Kara shouted and was about to slam the door on his face until Alex approached and stopped
"Ah..ah...Kara...I invited him... I know you see things in a way and they are not the way you see them... Let me explain you..." Alex explained
"So now you what? Gonna defend a daxamite?? Alex, everynight you told me about him that he is not into anyone, I believed you.. and see now...." Kara shouted and everyone in the house started looking at them at the door.
"Kara.. please, let him in... I promise you things are not the way you see... Please... Give him a chance to tell you..." Alex softly told Kara looking at the guests who were already noticing them
"Okay.. since you are requesting, I'm allowing him... And I promise, if I find him lying, I swear I will roast him there itself..." Kara shouted before she walked inside leaving Mon-el and Alex at the door.
Alex took a deep breath and said "God!! Come in now..."
"Hey you promised you will fix things..." Mon-el said anxiously as he entered
"I know, I didn't get time..." Alex replied closing the door
"Mon-el, when you see Kara alone, I suggest you to approach to her and tell her the truth..." She further added explaining Mon-el
"Didn't you just hear her? She said she is gonna roast me..." Mon-el said
"Yeah, only if she finds you are lying..."
"I promise, I will be around..." Alex tried relaxing Mon-el
"Now go and enjoy the party... Winn will be around somewhere..." She further added and walked to the kitchen
Kara, who was in the kitchen, looked terrified and angry, she almost burnt the pie she was making.
"Hey Kara..."
"You gotta relax..."
Alex suggested
"Alex.. everynight you told me about him, I cried secretly... I cried whole night, being guilty... Blaming my self for his condition, hoping to fix things..."
Kara further added after taking a deep breath "And I came to suprise and got suprised myself..."
Tears were almost forming into her eyes.
"Kara, everything I told you about him was true, he shut himself out, he was into depression and it was me who suggested him to go out.... Just socialize...." Alex further explained
"just let him explain..."
