Kara received the call while Mon-el attended the order they ordered.
(On phone)
"Alex....!!"
Kara exclaimed
"Where are you...?? You got me worried..." Alex replied through phone
"I am... I'm at my loft..with Mon-el..." Kara explained with crinkle on her head
"I'm so sorry Alex.. I almost forgot to inform you... It's just... It's Mon-el, he was kinda sad and... I couldn't see him in that situation....so.. we took off..."
"But I'm fine... Don't worry..."
She further added
"I wanted to run few tests on you Kara, to see if you are okay..."
"Well...Alex... You know right.. I'm gonna be fine.... I just need some sun..." She explained Alex who sounded really worried
"Well... Okay.. just take care of your self... Take rest Kara... And if you feel even little uneasy also... Please come here..."
Alex told via phone
"Okay... I will if in case.. "
"Bye! Alex... And tell J'onn and Winn I'm fine..."
She further added.
"Yeah I will... See ya, sissy..."
Alex said before she cut off the call.
Meanwhile Mon-el walked in with two large boxes of pizzas and two plates.
"Kara.. are you okay??" Mon-el questioned looking at Kara
"Yeah..."
"....I.... I Almost forgot Alex that I'm flying to the apartment... She was worried...."
Kara replied after taking a deep breath
"Well... Alex really is worried about you..."
"I can tell the way she spent sleepless nights while you were taking your beauty sleep.." Mon-el told Kara, while placing the pizza slices on the plates.
"Well yeah..."
"And.... On second note, I intentionally did not take beauty sleep..."
Kara pouted by nodding her head down and looking at Mon-el
"But I could feel her presence..." She further added.
"Well... Let's just forget it and celebrate the fact you are back..." Mon-el said before he took a big bite of a pizza slice.
"Yeah.... 'to me waking up!'"
Kara took a slice of pizza and raised a toast before she took a bite.
"Yeah.. to you waking up!" Mon-el exactly did the same and both smiled.
After eating, the spent almost whole night watching TV.. both of thier favorite movies.
Later they decided to switch off the TV and just let's talk;
like before, taking about almost everything. Laughing on Mon-el's silly jokes and specially the way he spoke. It was all mesmerizing to Kara.
"Ahhh.... I missed this so much... This you... the couch... Can't tell you...like honestly" Kara smiled, who was sitting next to Mon-el with his arm around her placed on the couch.
"You are my favourite daxamite, you know" she added.
"Yeah... I can see that..." Mon-el smiled looking at Kara, who's eyes were insanly blue and shining on the soft light of the moon passed through the window behind them.
"Can I get have this forever...? Like sitting on this couch and listening to you.. well your jokes... And eating these insanely large pizza's and watching movies all night??" Kara softly said
"Well.... May be..." Mon-el wishpered
And he grabbed her face with one hand and softly placed a kiss on her lips; Kara closed her eyes and got carried away by that intense feeling.
Mon-el took off his lips from hers and gave a look at Kara; she was not mad, not happy either
It was unexpected and both were confused in the pure emotions hitting them after staying away from each other for so long.
"Mon-el...." Kara wishpered
"I'm so sorry Kara. I didn't wanted to... It's just... Your eyes.. they were shining and you looking insanely beautiful... I couldn't hold it..." Mon-el said softly, by looking down after seeing Kara's eyes filled with tears;
"Mon-el...its..." Kara tried speaking before Mon-el cut her off
"I think I should go..." Mon-el said with tears in his eyes.
"I'm really sorry.... Kara..."
"I will see you tomorrow at the DEO"
he further added before he walked away.
Mon-el left Kara's loft and even than, Kara stayed sitted on the couch thinking of what just happened;
She thought about it while night, about what happened, she couldn't sleep as various thoughts running in her head.
She wanted to scream and cry;
tell Mon-el that she has mutual feelings for him but she was scared.
Scared for not being enough... scared that what if she looses his friendship... Scared that what if she can't have him.
She spent while sleepless night layed on that couch..
and waiting for morning arrive so she could go to the DEO, talk to Mon-el... And realising that things are still great among them.
