Next day Kara left for DEO; Not to forget the load she had on her back, she thought to simply walk to the DEO rather flying. She simply wanted to think about almost everything going on in her head.
She entered the main hall of the DEO through a elevator, all lost in her own thoughts that she forgot to greet Winn who just crossed her while entering. She didn't even smile at anyone, and simply kept walking to the big window facing the DEO hall.
Alex, who was standing in the hall going through stuff on the tab, noticed that something is wrong with her sister. She started thinking what could it be, until Winn walked.
"Hey what's wrong with Kara??"
Winn questioned
"I don't know either, I am shocked too.." Alex grasped
"Did anything happen between u..." Winn questioned Alex again
"Winn I wasn't even with her last night. I slept at Maggie's...unless...
Mon-el...."
Alex replied and widened her eyes
"What's with him??" Winn questioned
"Kara was with him last night.. so maybe..."
Alex grasped
"I should talk to her..."
She added further
"Yeah... You should... Coz she looks like walking zombie.." Alex joked, before Alex walked to Kara who was still in the DEO balcony and Winn watched the two for a while said to himself "oh boy! I hope you hadn't screwed up this time..." And walked away to the monitor room.
"Hey... Kara..., You okay??"
Alex questioned curiosly
"Yeah.. yeah.. I am fine!"
She replied
"You don't look like you are...
You walked in the DEO.. like literally walked; you do it only if you are upset or either you loose your powers.." Alex explained
"No... I'm fine; just wanted to clear my mind..." Kara nodded
"Hey... Look, you are my sister and I know you more than anyone.. so i can see something is clearly not right with you..." Alex told Kara by putting arm around her shoulder
"Alex.. I'm so confused and I don't know what to do..." Kara finally broke the words and tears came rolling down from her eyes.
"What is it...Kara..?" Alex questioned
"It's Mon-el Alex!"
"Last night we both were together like old days.. sitting and eating.. watching movies and talking stuff... Until...."
Kara paused and nodded her head
"Until...??"
"Hey... hey kara... relax!"
Alex tried relieving Kara who was at the urge of breaking
"Until...
He kissed me..." Kara replied and a force of tears rolled from her eyes.
"...Alex... I don't know now what to do..."
Kara further added
"Do you love him ??" She questioned by looking into Kara's eyes, while were filled with tears
"I think.... Yess..."
"But I'm afraid Alex.. I don't know... I screwed my past relationships... And plus he is daxamite and I don't know if I can trust him..." Kara explained
"Hey Kara... Look.. your past doesn't describe your future...
And neither Mon-el;
Mon-el might be from daxam.. and he must have been an ass before, but I've seen him when he is with you...
...he cares for you Kara..."
Alex replied explaining to Kara, on which she replied
"Yeah.. we are friends and friend do care....."
"He cares you more than a friend.. when you were missing he was completely broken.. he ran off finding you and he was the one who tried everything to find you..."
Alex continued Kara's words
"I shouldn't be telling you this but..." she further added and took a long breath
"But...??" Kara questioned
"But... I have to..
