{Misery}
If life is for the living why am I still here?
No matter what I do my misery always seems too near.
No distraction is too great, no thought too dark,
As my tears leave never fading watermarks.
My heart is too soft, my soul too damaged for this world we live in,
Never focusing on where we are but always where we've been.
Pain steming from some forgotten injury I can't place,
Not being able to recognize the vision of my own face.
Seperated from the beauty of the world that is so close yet so far away,
Trying to make it past the hopelessness of yesterday.
Close my eyes and breathing in the tinted summer air,
Hoping against hope that i'm something worth of repair.
