{Nowhere Boy}

I draw your face a thousand times and always with a frown.

I often dream of your voice while I slumber so I may revel in the sound.

You aren’t real, a figment of my imagination.

Yet you were the balm to sooth by alienation.

You don’t have a name but I often call for you night after night, as I lay broken.

If you had ever show up I will give you my heart as a token.

When my mind wanders you steal my every thought.

You are my only light in a world that leaves me to rot.

It isn’t right to love someone who isn’t real, someone from a nowhere place.

Still you’ve put a mark on me I dare not erase.

I long for you to come to my reality and comfort me from the sadness in my heart.

Though I know if that happened I would never let us be apart.

The boy from nowhere and the girl in her own little world, what a pair we would make.

Come to me, sweet fantasy, I am yours to take.

Until then I will keep you behind my eyelids in a secret place only I can know.

I will keep you selfishly to myself, my sweet mirage of a Romeo.

I will wait until you escape my pages with your likeness.

While I live with my own world filled with lifelessness.
