The chill lingers on my skin, making me feel alive and alert. Trees dance along with the wind, waltzing from side to side. My hair glides on the wind, creating a tangled mess, but I don't care. The smell of fresh rain satisfies my longing for this storm. Liquid snowflakes land on bright green leaves, creating the wonderful sight of dewdrops. I close my eyes and imagine I'm in a wonderland. Wind threatens to knock me down, but I fight back. When I open my eyes again, I am transformed into a little girl. Fascinated by the dark grey sky, the moist air, and the damp plants that glow with a bright green, a feeling of giddiness courses through me. I take a slow, careful glance around, and one thing comes to mind. I'm home.
