{THIS CHAPTER IS NOT EDITED! SORRY FOR ANY MISTAKES}

Jenna woke up on Monday with the worst stomachache. Sharp pains hit her all around her abdomen. She clutched her stomach, pleading it to stop hurting. She squeezed her eyes shut at the outrageous pain. Her legs swung out of bed in a choppy and painful motion. Her feet met the cold floor and she stood.

Her back arched over as she held her stomach and made her way to her restroom. She willed herself to turn the faucet on. She stuck her hands into the running water and splashed it onto her face.

She inhaled deeply and tried her best to ignore the pain as she got ready for the day.

"Jenny, you ready?" her mother called from the living room.

"Yeah," she shouted and surprisingly she didn't receive any pain for it.

She rushed out of her room and shut the door behind. Five seconds later she reopened the door to grab her camera off her desk. She pulled it over her head and let it hang from her neck. Now she was ready.

She hurried to the car, receiving a smile before she strapped the seatbelt over her chest and buckled it in. She gave her mom an assuring smile before her mom pulled out of the driveway easily and drove to school.

-

When Jenna walked into the cafeteria, she was a little worried because she wouldn't have anyone to sit with. Katie and Louis her only friends she's had since the seventh grade. She's had other friends, yes, but they weren't quite as close as her and Katie. She didn't really care what others would think, but she was going to be lonely. She wouldn't mind it too much anyway.

"Jenna," someone called her name.

She snapped her head towards the voice. She smiled at Samantha, who waved her hand in a signal for Jenna to walk over. So she did. "Hey," Jenna greeted.

"Hi." Samantha smiled. "So, what's up?"

"Nothing." Jenna shrugged. "What 'bout you?"

"I'm waiting for your brother, but I haven't seen him."

"He probably overslept, you know, the party and all. He came home pretty late."

"Ah, right." Samantha nodded. The bell rang, signaling first period.

Jenna knew the time would come, but she hoped it wouldn't be so early.

"I'll see you later, then, Jenna," Samantha said.

"Mhm." Jenna gave her a closed mouth smile, before turning on her heel and walking to first period. She took her seat in the back, and set her backpack on the side of the desk. She patiently waited for class to start. She hoped Samantha overslept like Dean, so she wouldn't have to face her.

"Alright, class, please have a seat," the teacher, Mrs. Sanders, said aloud.

-

"If you multiply, x by y, you'll easily get b." Ms. Sanders was teaching something about algebra, but Jenna wasn't really paying any attention. Her mind was somewhere else, a place full of curls and green eyes and dimples and scarves in the heat.

She blinked a couple of times before she realized class was interrupted. Everyone turned their heads to the door and in stepped Katie.

She's awfully late.

Katie gave her pass to Ms. Sanders and took a seat next to Veronica, a short girl with glasses and wavy hair, but nonetheless, pretty. Jenna had expected for Katie to come crawling back to her, but she didn't, and that made Jenna even more upset. Katie wasn't even trying to talk to her. Jenna certainly wasn't going to talk to her, she did nothing wrong, and Katie definitely needed to apologize.
