Shoutout to @EpicPinkUnicornNinja for following me!

Sorry for not updating in a while :( I kind of feel like this guy .-.

As some of you may know that I went to the One Direction concert last week :))))) It was probably the best night of my life, to put it simply. I still have a ringing in my ears, that's how loud it was. When they played Strong, I basically had a fangirl attack. It is one if the most important songs on the album for me (you would probably get why...) :).

School starts again in a week, so expect slower updates. I will try my best though! Don't give up on me ;)

The song for this chapter is Sky Full Of Stars by Coldplay.

I will try to update the next chapter before school starts!

Stay Strong,

~Shannon:)

The cool water splashes on my toes as I walk along the sandy shores of Miami. My skin heats up as the warm sun beats down on me. I look out into the ocean, and I see the sun dipping down into the horizon. Chloe is walking right next to me, her long hair pulled back into a ponytail.

After a long silence, she finally spoke up. It startled me at first, I was so wrapped up in the beautiful scenery.

" Do you miss home?" She asks out of the blue. " Do you miss Blue Lake?"

Mostly I have been just thinking about my family. Mom, Dad, Jason. But now that I think about it..

" Yeah. A lot, actually."

I miss my house. I miss my room. I miss my other friends; even Kendall, who I just reconnected with. But the most I will miss is my old life. The life that I had before I was noticed by One Direction. Where I didn't get noticed everywhere I went. I miss that a lot.

" Do you?" I ask. I know this was a sensitive subject for Chloe, but that didn't mean she couldn't tell me. I am her best friend, after all.

" Yes. I miss my Aunt. And I miss my parents." She confessed. "I- I miss my mom and dad the most, even though I can barely remember them."

By now we have walked a long ways down the beach. We left the boys, since they had an interview downtown to go to. It was nice for just us two to just have a relaxed evening without any craziness with the boys or the fans.

We came up to a marina that I haven't even noticed before since we started walking. It wasn't very big, so I was guessing it was private. It had about 15 boats in it, but they were pretty big boats.

" Do you want to walk on the dock?" Chloe asks.

" Sure." I agreed, seeing we have nothing else to do. I dropped my flip flops in the sand, and slipped them on. Chloe did the same. But this time, I didn't feel the comfort of the warm sand against my feet.

We reached the beginning of the dock. The ground changed its turf, and soon enough, I could hear the wood clicking as my shoes walked on the hard wood ground. As we both walked by, we saw different people cleaning their yacts. Some people waved, and we kindly waved back. I breathed in the salty air. Being from the West Coast to the East Coast in less than a week is an amazing adventure.

We stopped at the very edge of the dock, being closer to the ocean than before. The sun was shone a little more than halfway on the horizon, making the sky beautiful shades of pinks, purples, and oranges. It was a truly breathtaking sight. I don't think I have ever seen a sunset before.
