::Sin's POV::I hold onto Davina's hand as she sits quietly in the passenger seat. I want to bring up our situation, but don't want to ruin it. Maybe she just wants to make our occasionally or not at all, but this morning and last night felt different than when she says she doesn't want anything to do with me other than business.
"Where are we going?" She asks.
"Out of town," I answer, grinning. I can tell she's getting annoyed by my short answers, but I'm enjoying it. "You'll like where in taking you."
"I like anywhere you take me cause it means I'm getting out of the house," she says, chuckling. I can't tell if that was a jab or a joke; maybe both.

I open the car door for her, the sun hitting my back violently. Its hot today which is weird due to how its been lately. I lock the car and take her hand, bring it up to my lips. I really want to discuss our position of relationship, but now isn't the time.
I'm trying to make a better change to myself; that change being a slightly better person. I've realized that if I want to eventually have am actual relationship with Davina, I'll need to be better for myself, my daughter, and her.
"What are we doing here?" She asks, looking at the lathe welcome sign across the street. "Isn't it too dangerous to be close to town?"
"Yes, which is why I'm here with you and won't be letting you out of my sight unless absolutely necessary," I tell her. She nods, following me inside the small café. I spot her brother sitting in the corner reading something.
We walk over. I wait patiently for her to take notice of him before making it obvious. Her eyes widen at the sight of her older brother. I grew up the only child and had no close relatives or friends I cared deeply about. Even my parents were just people who were around, but I never really loved, for they weren't exactly the best of people.
Her brother stands, making his way to her. She nearly knocks him over once they hug. I cab tell she's crying by the small racks of her body. He whispers something to her, but I don't bother in trying to listen.
We all sit down. Davina wipes her tears, smiling. "I miss you so much," her brother tells her, placing his hand on hers.
"I miss you too," she replies, blinking back tears. He turns his attention back to me.
"Now would be a good time for the explanation you said you would give for kidnappings my baby sister," he says. I clear my throat. I can't tell him the whole truth, but I can beat around the bush.
"I'm involved in some seriously fucked up shit; dangerous shit. She didn't know this when we started talking at all. It's not something I tell people right off the bat. Some stuff happened the night we went out together and she was seen with me, which is dangerous for her. I knew that if I just let her go on living her normal life, even if we never seen each other after that night, she wouldn't be safe. And I'm trying my best to explain this to you without jeopardizing your life as well. She's with me so I can keep her as safe as possible. No harm will come to her as long as she's with me," I tell him.
His jaw clenches as he looks back at her. Her eyes dart around the cafe, obviously nervous. "Do you feel safe with him?" He asks her. She glances at me, our eyes locking. Despite what she says, she's not leaving.
"I do," she says. "I know the circumstances aren't great, but I do feel safe with him. I don't think I would with anyone else and I'll do whatever I have to in order to eventually come back home."AN: Short but sweet. I will edit this later.
