Blackkit walked into Riseclan

Blackkit walked into Riseclan, drenched in the cold water, but didn't mind because his thoughts were on other things; he stalked around slowly to try and understand why Shadekit resembled him so clearly, they were thoughts that maybe Blackkit thought there was glass in between them that made a reflection of himself.

Even though Blackkit hoped this, he knew it wasn't true.

"Blackkit!" Mothlight hissed, "Where were you, why did you run off?"

The black kit stared up to his terrified, angry mother, "I heard a loud splash.." He said lying already before his brain could keep up, "So..I went to see what it was, and.."

For some reason Blackkit couldn't finish what he was saying.

Mothlight swayed her tail anxiously, "And?"

"It was nothing..a stick fell from a tree..and it just fell into the water..?" He sighed, finishing.

Unconvinced, Mothlight's eyes narrowed, before she could saying anything, Willowsplash bounded over to them.

The fea stared at them wide-eyed, she was pawing the ground nervously, "So..you found him, Mothlight?"

The ginger queen nodded as she pulled over Blackkit to her pelt, "He went exploring down the river apparently. You know kits these days, be grateful you don't have any."

Willowsplash shrugged, "You should take him to Thistlestart and explain that you found him, Mothlight.." The silvery gray fea said as she started padding away to the other search party to call their search off.

Mothlight silently looked away from Blackkit, she sighed, "Follow me, Blackkit."

Blackkit has never heard his mother address him by his name and that made him feel strange, to feel like he did something wrong (even though he did) he still felt disappointed in himself for making his mother have to call him by his name, 'kit'.

His mother turned around to walk towards a shuffle of other cats that surrounded and formed an unorganized circle, "I found him, Thistlestar." Mothlight mewed into the circle.

Thistlestar, a long haired tom with a dark pelt that still wasnt as dark as Blackkit's, walked out of the circle towards them, he was angry.

"How does a kit go missing then return so fast without any wounds?" The dark leader hissed, swaying his long tail, his eyes then glared towards Mothlight, "Take him to the nursery, watch him this time." He spat.

Mothlight dipped her head, she picked her son up by the scruff then started padding away towards the nursery.

Feeling awkward and still ashamed, Blackkit looked up to his mother, "Does Thistlestar not like me, mama?"

With Blackkit still in her mouth by his scruff, Mothlight muffled in his fur, "Of course he likes you..he was just very worried that one of the kits in his clan would get hurt as all, I promise, sweetie."

Even though it made sense, Blackkit still sighed already feeling he made a bad impression in front of his leader.

The two reached inside the bramble nursery entrance where they were greeted with Firekit and Icekit pouncing around in their nests happily to see their friend and brother return safely

with Mothlight.

Mothlight eventually set her son down in her paws to keep a closer eye on him; she stayed close in front of the entrance to block his path off this time like the snow should had done before.

Blackkit ducked down playfully towards his friend and kin, but was scolded by his mother shortly after. So, he brought himself back up to walk away and curl up into a ball in his nest, hoping his mother wouldn't be upset with him anymore by morning.

"Sootpelt, Sootpelt!" Twistedfoot called around for the gray medicine cat, the apprentice searched around for him desperately for answers on what they were going to do about Blackkit.

No one is going to ever touch him. I won't let them..even if it kills me.

Finally seeing a familiar gray tail sticking up near the highrock, Twistedfoot began walking towards him until he stopped in his tracks to recognize another factor of someone else he knew.

"Thistlestar, I understand your concern but I will not look wrong again." Sootpelt lowly towards the dark leader.

Slowly backing away, Twistedfoot made himself lay on his belly to listen on both of them. Moreover, he had his claws unsheathed in case they wanted to hurt Blackkit in anyway possible.

"Sootpelt, we are not doing this again. Whatever you say is not going to convince me to let this slide once again, it's over." Thistlestar said firmly as he began walking away which made Twistedfoot slink behind the rocks.

Sootpelt let the leader take a few paces away until he sat down, expecting the leader to return, "They are going to be apprentices soon come new-leaf..all of them will be getting their own mentors, won't they?"

Thistlestar stopped and froze, his tail stuck flat behind him and his muscles clenched broadly, "So it seems..why is that any relevance now?"

The medicine cat wrapped his tail around his paws; he sat there stiffly with his head looking up to the highrock with his whiskers twitching pleasurably.

"What if one day they became a leader of your clan..does a Blackstar suit your clan standards, Thistlestar?"

Thistlestar leapt over towards the medic with his fur bristled and had his fangs bared cruely at him as well as he spat, "My clan will stay my clan, not his!"

Twistedfoot watched in horror at how these two acted around each other..it was dark to him and slightly unsettling on many matters; none of which he'd expect from either of them.

Somewhat pleased, Sootpelt got to his paws, "Since this is a kit..we could do some good things for him before we kill him, Thistlestar, it doesn't have to be an early death."

"So you wanted to talk to me about this for nothing?" Thistlestar huffed, his pelt relaxing slightly.

Sootpelt shrugged, "No, I had a motive..although right now it doesn't concern much of anything about this. What I can tell you, dear leader, I will do anything to make it so you can keep your power without any problem at all."

..Anything? Twistedfoot thought to himself, his ears pricked forward.

The leader sat down blankly, not understanding at all of what Sootpelt was implying.

Strangely enough, he did not question his medicine cat, nor judge him by any means since they were at agreement.

"So, new-leaf, they will be apprentices..and that one will too?" thistlestar asked.

Sootpelt nodded slowly.

As the two began to talk on other things, there came some conversations that Twistedfoot couldn't her them so much, so he started to crawl forward on the rocks to accidently drag his white belly on the craggy ground.

"Who is a mentor that will give him a hard time..?" Sootpelt asked his leader, swaying his tail.

Thistlestar tilted his head to think it over, "Undecided so far.."

Curiously, Twistedfoot kept slinking forward, getting closer to them.

When he tried lifting his twisted paw, it got caught in between two rocks and so he ignored it thinking he could keep moving but that only made it hurt.

The apprentice began to keep trying to crawl near them, but that only damaged his efforts even more; soon, he began to struggle so much that his white paw began to leak off his fur and into the rocks, he was muffling a yowl of pain.

Both cats ears stood up, only Sootpelt got up to investigate around the rock.

"Who is over there, Sootpelt?"
