"Jiho, I'll be going first. Make sure to go home before 6 pm okay?" Joohyun reminded you before leaving. You responded with a nod and thanked her.

You didn't see the boys the whole day so you messaged them that you won't be around because of the remaining works in the Journalism Department. And yes, you are now a member because of Minseok, not minding that someone in this room hates you.

Ever since that day, you never talked to Jaemin again. You really do appreciate the boys' efforts to make me feel accepted, but you noticed that they are being distant from Jaemin.

I mean,they don't have to be that distant to Jaemin because of me.They can still be friends right?

Lost in your own mind, you didn't notice that it was raining heavily. You looked at your watch and it was already 8 pm, you didn't want to work at home because you'll be lazy.

"I should go home, Mom might be mad at me for going home at this time. " You said to yourself. Fortunately, Wendy gave you an umbrella to use. She said that it's going to rain,well she's right all along.

You packed your bag and turned off the lights. The school looks isolated because there's no students left.

"Rude." "Oh shit!"

You cussed in shock when you saw Jaemin walking towards you, "Jaemin? What are you doing here?"

"I finished something."

Why am I even talking to him? He did something bad, right?

You rolled your eyes and opened your umbrella, "Bye."

You were about to walk away when Jaemin stopped you with his hand, "Rude, aren't you gonna share that with me?"

He grabbed the umbrella and pulled you closer, "Stay close, so you won't kill me for being rained on."

When you arrived at the bus stop, you stepped back, "Thanks."

Jaemin didn't answer, and suddenly the both of you were surrounded by silence. It made you think about what happened, so you decided to ask him something.

"Hey, can I ask you something? You don't have to answer."

Jaemin just stared at you, his hair covering a bit of his eyes, little do you know that his heart was beating erratically, "Why do you hate me?"

"Did I do something bad?"

"......"

"Jaemin, I'm not flirting with your friends. I have to be nice because I'm staying for more than 5 months. Now, if you don't want to talk to me, fine I won't force you. But I just hope that this petty fight of ours won't be a hindrance to you and the others. "

Jaemin scoffed, "Petty? I saw how you flirted with my friends Jiho, I don't want them to experience what I experienced before."

"Can you please know that I am different? Listen Jaemin, I'm not here to date somebody, I'm here to study and enjoy my time being with the group I like for years now."

Jaemin became curious, "Years?"

"I'm a fan, Jaemin. That's why I am so happy that I get to be with you guys, but you only think of me as a flirt who's going to dump your friends."

Your heart was overflowing with sadness, Jaemin didn't like you, and he will never like you.

Not minding that you'll be wet, you walked away from the bus stop and went home walking under the strong rain. Jaemin then, froze in his tracks and couldn't follow you.
