Chapter 58

[Jiho]

I stand before the two eggs, not Jaemin and and Jeno, but Jangmi and Seojun. They both look guilty and they couldn't even look me in the eye.

"Okay, whose idea was it?" I ask, clearly not believing what I saw earlier. 

I was on my way getting something to eat alone, Seojun wasn't in the house and I can't contact Jangmi so I walked alone. 

While searching for some food in the convenience store, I saw two familiar people near the window, they looked so lovey dovey but I decided to stay away, maybe they're from SMA or my previous school.

While paying for the food, I decided to look at them to take a closer look. And when I did, I  fucking flipped out. "Jangmi-ya, when are we going to tell Jiho? It's going to be a month since we started dating and I don't think I can hide it from her anymore."

"I'm scared, what if she gets mad at us not telling that we're together?"

"I can hear you, you dumbasses," I said plainly. Jangmi jolted in shock while Seojun forcefully smiled at me, "J-Jiho ya, hi." I took my bag full of food and looked at them both, "You have a lot of explaining to do."

And that's how we got here, mya arms are crossed while I'm trying to looks as serious as possible. "Whose idea was it? Was it yours, Seojun?"

"Hey, in my defense Jangmi also likes me so the both of us are into this, right baby?"

I cringed at their nicknames, "Ew." Who the fuck calls their girl baby? 

"J-Jiho-ya, don't get mad. I didn't expect that we'll date, okay?" Jangmi tries to calm me down, while I try to not laugh in front of them.

It's actually okay that they are dating, well to me it is. Why did they even hide it though?  They both look happy in their relationship, heck I even saw Seojun put a kiss on the back of Jangmi's hand. They look kinda cute too.

Sighing, I combed my hair with my hand and looked at them both, "You could've just told me," I point at Jangmi, "and you? You sly fox, I thought that we're both single since birth. Am I the only one who's single now?"

"You have Jaemin and Jeno," Seojun chirps, making me sneer, "Fuck you."

"Just date, why did you even think that I'll get mad?" I said, "Just tell me if Seojun fucks up, I'll kill him for you, Jo Jangmi."

"Hey!" Seojun irritatingly said, making the two of us laugh, "Don't act all mighty and shit, you're still the Kim Seojun I know."

While talking with them, and basically seeing them looking sweet and all, it made a little envious. Jangmi and Seojun already has each other, while I'm stuck in the zone where my crush doesn't like me back. At least I think I don't.

"Jiho, your phone is ringing." Jangmi said, getting me out of my reverie. I look at the screen and it was Jeno who's calling me, "Jeno?"

("Where are you?")

I slightly frown, "At home, why?"

("Nothing, just wanted to check. it's late, why are you still up?")

"I ate too much," I sheepishly said, making Jeno chuckle on the other line. ("I see, then if you ever feel your tummy aching, just tell me. Bye.") 

I ended the call with curiosity, but Jeno is like that most of the time. I then looked at Jangmi and Seojun, "I'm going to rest now, you guys can--" I was cut off when my phone rang again, but this time my heart raced and I became nervous.

Jaemin calling...

I ran to my room and closed the door, I even made sure that my voice is clear before answering it, "H-Hello?"

(".....")

I looked at my phone, "Hello? Jaemin-ah?"

(".....")

I frowned before ending the call, what was that? I frustratingly placed my phone on the bedside table and laid down, "Why did he even call?"

And why did I even expect that he wants to talk to me? Maybe he called the wrong number.

I made me even more irritated that Jaemin likes someone.
