Candy finished washing the dishes and sat at the counter waiting for Antony. "Thirty minutes are already gone!" She said looking at the wall clock in the kitchen. 'Should I go check on him in the office?' She asked herself.
Standing up and left only to bump into Antony. "I'm so sorry Sir!!I didn't mean to..I was coming to call you!" She said nervously. "Its okay sorry to keep you waiting" he said not looking at her
"This way please Candy!" She followed silently and they walked to the back of the mansion and couldn't believe her eyes.
"Oh my gosh! Wow!!" She mumbled. "What?" He asked chuckling. "I mean sir!you have a ranch and a horse stable?"she asked not believing and shook her head. "Yeah!" He said looking at her.
"You don't look like this" she said pointing to the ranch. "What do I look like?"he asked laughing "Business people..office kind of people" she said boldly. "Well..actually my ex wife used to keep it,so I just had to learn how to manage a ranch and ensure everything is in order" he sighed and felt his heart ache.
"Sir!?" She looked at him feeling sad. "She's not dead..she just cheated..on me!" He said and started walking towards the stables.

"I'm sorry sir...I mean Mr Antony" she said remorsefully. "Its been 15 years now...I'm used to being alone" he said pulling a black horse out of its stable. "And your son?" She asked curiously. "What about him?" He asked glaring at her. "What will happen when he gets a wife and moves out?"
"I'll just be here. But I'm at retirement age now and soon he'll be owning my companies yet he has no family to be beneficiary to his inheritance. I need an heir!!" He sighed. "I keep telling him but.." She interrupted him. "Don't rush him sir!!maybe he's not ready" "I got married at 22 and his mother was 19 by then carrying him and his twin." He cursed as to why he said that Steve had a twin and knew she'd ask.
Flashback Antony came home late and drunk. Racheal had been waiting for him all day to tell him that she was pregnant.
"Honey,you're home" she said going to embrace him only for him to walk past her "I'm tired Racheal. Go to bed?!" He said in a boring tone walking towards their room.
"I've been waiting for you all night!!" She said holding her hips. "For what??" He asked angrily gripping her neck. He let her go and went to the night stand and saw a folder.
He then took it and opened it. It was a sonogram for pregnancy. "What is this?" He asked turning to her. "I'm pregnant!!" She said smiling only for it to be short lived. "How could you?Is this a way to trap me?" He asked shoving her and she fell on the floor.
"I'm not ready bitch!?" He said kicking her and closed the door. He went and sat on the sofa. He didn't know how long he had sat there thinking so hard of what he had just done and sobered up. He kept fighting this feeling he had towards Rachel. Is it love?
He wiped his tears and went back to the room. He found her in a pool of blood. "What have I done??" He asked picking her and called his friends Bernard and Chris. "P...p..please...ta..take...m..me..to..the..h..Hosp..." She then fainted and lost consciousness.
End of flashback
Antony wiped the tears that had started forming. He looked at Candy."I knew you'd ask;!" "What happened then?" She asked wiping her tears from her cheeks "I took her to hospital then she was discharged and went to bed rest for 3 months" he explained while sniffling.
"Did you really love her?" She asked folding her hands. "Of course,I did." He chuckled then looked down" I apologized but still feel guilt for my dead son." "Have you ever told Steve?" "No!!" He said looking at her"I don't know why I just told you. Don't tell him please."he took her hand smiling "I'm just fond of you"

"Sir?" "Yes.." He said taking the horse back after walking for a while around the ranch. "Is my work here over?" She asked curiously.
