eyes opening, only seeing white for a few seconds before focusing on what was going on in his padded grey room.

a pale hand resting on his shoulder, making him look up.

yoongi.

this was the first real time he'd seen yoongi in a while. but those hallucinations felt so real, they couldn't have just been hallucinations.

but they were.

"good morning, jimin," yoongi whispered without making eye contact.

"y-y-yoongi i-i.. w-what h-h-happened?" jimin asked, it felt so real.

"jin called me, you were hallucinating again and you kept asking for me. i flew here only for you jimin."

"i-it felt s-s-so r-real," jimin looked up, teary eyes.

"i know jimin, they always do."

yoongi's hair was still blonde, black ripped jeans, grey sweatshirt, almost blending with the walls.

blonde.

"b-blonde," jimin mumbled to himself.

yoongi just stood up, pulling jimin off the hard padded room bed.

"c'mon, jimin, let's get breakfast and you can tell me about the hallucinations."

after hearing what had gone on in jimin's head for days on end, all yoongi could do was hug him.

jimin was his favorite dongsaeng. he didn't want jimin to go through anything mentally.

but yoongi knew he couldn't control jimin's borderline schizophrenia.

he would never let jimin fall into something so hard alone. yoongi would always be there for his best friend no matter what.

until the day he died.
