jimin woke up to his phone ringing and dinging a billion times.

he was so tired, almost ignoring all of them but curiosity took over, causing him to unlock his phone and go straight to his messages.

he had texts all about yoongi, but nothing from him.

texts from the panicked taehyung, jungkook, and soonyoung. to texts from a calm but scared seokjin, namjoon, and hoseok.

yoongi had gotten into a horrid car accident the night before, after he dropped jimin off.

yoongi was in a coma, but only family was able to visit for the time being, though that didn't stop jimin from forcing namjoon and seokjin to drive him to the hospital, where soonyoung was waiting in yoongi's hospital room.

as soon as they arrived jimin bolted into the hospital without waiting for seokjin or namjoon to even get out of the car.

as he entered a ran to the desk immediately asking to see yoongi.

"are you family, sir?" the older women asked bluntly, staring at her computer.

"no bu-," jimin tried, only to be cut off.

"are you two dating, engaged, married?" the women asked, tiredly removing her eyes from the computer only to make eye contact with the teary eyed jimin.

"y-," jimin had to stop himself, remember it was only a hallucination, "no but you don't understand! i need to see hi-," cut off again.

"sorry, sir, you're prohibited from seeing him." the women sighed, turning back to her computer.

but that wouldn't stop jimin.

"listen here, you bitch, if you don't let me see yoongi i wi-,"

"jimin!" a crackly voice came from behind, it being soonyoung exiting the hallway yoongi's room was down.

"you need to see yoongi, there's only a forty percent chance he'll live, jimin," soonyoung choked, holding back tears, slightly collapsing on jimin and earning looks from others in the waiting room.

those words scared the life out of jimin. he couldn't lose his yoongi.

seokjin and namjoon entered with jungkook, taehyung, and hoseok behind them, the two youngest running over to jimin and soonyoung.

seokjin, hoseok, and namjoon made their way to the desk, tiredly, convincing the women to let the seven boys visit yoongi.

eventually earning an okay from the women.

soonyoung lead them to the room, jimin being the last to enter, in fear of how yoongi looked. he didn't want to see his hyung in pain.

as he entered he saw the older boy, bruises and cuts plastered upon his face, arms, legs.

the sight only caused jimin to feel unsteady, tears already running down his face.

please let this be a dream.. a sick nightmare.. please be a hallucination.. he can't leave me.. it's just a nightmare.. everything's fine.. yoongi is home, sleeping like a baby..

but that simply wasn't the case.
