"No, not at all, you're doing just fine." She whispers, gazing up into my eyes. I kiss her. She wraps her arms around my neck and kisses me back. I pull the cover around us more, just in case. She tangles her fingers in my hair.
"I love you Tessa."
"I love you too Will, so so much."
She tenses underneath me.
"Are you okay?"
"Yes, you? You seem a little tense yourself." My face feels hot, I'm blushing. Herondales don't blush,,, or maybe they do.
"I'm great."
"Yes you are" Now I'm really blushing. "You're so cute when you blush. "
"Maybe I should blush more often then."
"Please? for me?" I smile and kiss her.
"Tessa, I'd walk to the ends of this earth and to hell and back just to see that beautiful smile."
"You are too sweet, has anyone ever told you that?"
