It's close to 4:30 a.m. and I'm not asleep, and it's not from pain, because as of now, there is none. No, it's from this funny little thing called love. Yes, I am in love with Tessa Gray, and I am pretty sure Tessa Gray is in love with me. I watch as she sleeps, her smooth hair falling in front of her eyes, you wouldn't think that she'd be the type to drool, but she is. I hear the door creak open, Jem comes in.
"shouldn't you be asleep right now?? it's nearly five a.m."
"I can't sleep."
"Why not? Are you still hurting?"
"No, not at all, I'm just in love."
"In love? With who?"
"The beautiful sleeping girl next to my bedside."
"So, you're in love with Tessa."
"Yes, and I'm in deep."
"I can't help you there, look, I'll leave you two alone."
"Ha-ha, you're so funny."

*Tessa*
I wake up and look at the clock, it's 11:45 a.m. Will is still sleeping. I gently shake him.
"Will? wake up."
"Hmmm? Five more minutes please."
"Are you Okay?" Jem comes in.
"Oh, he's great, he's better than great actually."
"Jem, shut up!"
"He's in love and he's in deep." My eyes widen.
"In love? With who?"
Jem, I swear by the angel."
"With you, Tessa."
"Jem!!"
"Me?" I look down at him, his face is bright red. "Will, I love you too, I've been in love with you from the first day I saw you."
"I-I have too... but I never thought you felt the same way.."
"I never thought you felt the same way."
"Well, I did, and there was always a part of me that hoped you did."
"And you never gave up on that hope, right?"
"Right. "
"I am so glad you held on to it, because we wouldn't have each other right now." He smiles at me, and I am so relieved to see it.
"And I don't know where I'd be without you Tessa." And with that, he falls asleep, still smiling.
