VIII

After a small nap she had gotten,Valerie was up and running on her feet.A dull feeling was bothering her on the pit of her stomach.She didn't knew what it was but it kept bugging her during her sleep as well.

The whole floor was buzzing since she had gotten up.She didn't knew if it was because they were busy or something had happened but as she inched closer to the computer hall a loud buzz that irritated even her deaf ears kept going off.Her eyes widened as she realized that this wasn't an ordinary buzz it was an alert siren.

Maria had told her that there were two kinds of alert sirens.One when the whole vehicle has landed safely and everyone had to leave or when there was danger happening.And the later seemed more liking since a red light on the ceiling was going off.

She didn't appear on the computer hall,instead she run back to her room grabbing her quiver and bow,along with her vest.A loud sound shook the floor making her loose her balance.An explosion.She winced slightly since her shoulder ached from the jet she was in the night before.

She got up and run to lower levels feeling a loud buzz again coming from there.This was the time that she cursed everything around her.That loud buzz wasn't a siren and didn't appear like anything a vehicle would do.Then it popped.

Bruce.Or worse his alter ego.

Maybe this was a part of Loki's plan as well,that's why he appeared so calm back in the jet,he knew someone would definitely come save him and in order to cause commotion he had to find a way to distract and destroy things from the inside.

The buzz sounded again.Or from what she had picked up the roar of the Hulk echoed in the halls.She reached a very low level which appeared almost abandoned and quiet.It appeared to be the basic room that all the mechanisms of the vehicle were placed.She couldn't be sure though.Taking small breaths she pulled an arrow slowly arming it on her bow while moving slowly across the indoor balcony.

She was surprised that no one came to inform her or worse the people that were in lower levels.If the Hulk was loose then things weren't good.

It was extremely quiet for a few moments.

The hair on the back of her neck raised and she quickly turned to see a flash of red hair and a force sending her across the room.Shaking her head from the impact and clearing her vision she saw him.The Hulk running after Natasha.As quickly as she could with miraculously her bow still armed she run after them.

The Hulk send Natasha across the room as well,-was that a thing now-,the red head groaning in pain from her impact.Valerie pulled her string back letting her arrow fly and explode on the Hulk.The smoke confusing him for a few seconds before he turned to growl at her.She pulled another arrow sending it straight at him.And another one and another one.Until he roared loudly and run towards her,already outraged by the exploding arrows.Frozen she just watched with wide eyes,the green creature run towards her as she covered herself waiting for an impact that never came.

Thor had leaped across the room dragging Hulk to a completely different side,through the wall to deal with him.

Valerie still breathing heavily she run to Natasha.She appeared to be in so much pain to the point she was shaking from it.If she hadn't broken any bones or had internal bleeding then she would be lucky."What are you doing here?"she said shakily holding her side.

Valerie was so tired of this.Not being able to hear or control her voice.She had reached her limit.If she talked loudly someone would just tell her."You help I help.It runs in the family."she finally used her voice after being mute for so long.She couldn't hear her own voice but she could understand that she spoke the words clearly from her mouth movements.This was definitely harder than it seemed.Her throat was kinda raw as well making her clear it once.Not bad for a first time after so many years.
