  Two days has passed and I've sat withing the same places since I watched that man glide Levy around, she must have had a good time. An amazing time I'm sure, he probably offered her a ride home and probably kissed her, gave her his number. I grimaced and laid my head against the couch. Fuck him. And Fuck everything about me that hates the guy, I couldn't blame him, she a beautiful girl sitting alone, all smiles and laughs.
  Suddenly there was a knock at the door. No one should be here, and I had already paid my rent, I lifted myself up from the couch and headed over to the door.  Probably Alisha asking for paper towel or some dumb shit like that.
  I looked though the peep hole to see Levy.

Who thinks I'm out of town on a mission. 

  "Shit." I grumbled. I stood there frozen while she waited, then she opened her mouth.
  "I know your there Gajeel.  Open up." Her brows were burrowed and she crossed her arms, fuck.
  I slowly opened the door to look at the tiny girl. Before I got to say anything she pushed her way inside my apartment.
  "I was gonna call you." I said, like a retard. She laughed and looked at me.
  "Oh yeah? To tell me you were on the way back home," she narrowed her eyes. "From you mission. Four days ago."
  I stood looking at her for a hard minuet. She wasn't in a hurry.  "I don't know what you want me to say. "
  "Are you kidding? How about 'I'm sorry levy. I've been avoiding you for days. And I've been acting a lot weirder the usual. For literally weeks now'."
  "It's just needed some time to think about things." I said. I was beginning to feel cornered. Which I didn't like.
  "About what?? Do you think I'm stupid? Like I would totally be okay with you lying to me, or ditching plans, pretending like I don't exist. I'm sorry if I'm to weak for you to around you, or that I make you look stupid in front of people, but you can TALK TO ME." She started to cough up, my heart yearned, I wanted to hold her, I wanted to tell her everything I felt towards her. I grabbed her hand, held it between mine.
  "I'm the weak one." I said looking right into her eyes, I was close to her, inches apart, staring right into her soul. "Something is just not right with me right now, but I don't want to lose you as my friend." She looked back to me, tears drying off.
  "You can tell me what's going on."
  "I.." I began, I couldn't tell her, I would ruin anything I had with her, the bond we have.
  "I can't Levy, I'm sorry." We were still close, our fingers still holding each other until she took her away. "I can make you something to eat if you'd like."
  "No, I'm gonna go, there's no point being around you if my Gajeel isn't even present." She straightened her posture and headed for the door.
  "Besides, I have a date with a guy named Siren. A guy I met at an event. You should know that shouldn't you." She opened the door and left. 
  Those words, they weren't something she would usually say, they hurt, there was nothing cute about this at all. I pressed my back onto a wall and slide down onto the floor. She hates me, I've never felt like this before, she was purely disappointed in me tonight. She knew I was watching her, she probably asked Mira if I took a mission, under any other circumstances she would have believed me and never had known I lied, but now she knows, now she's angry, now she has a date later with the fucker. I laid my head down on the floor and fell asleep on the cold tile.
