You didn't tell anyone. You were doubting about telling Hermione but you didn't. You couldn't. Even though you wanted to tell someone, you couldn't. If Hermione would tell Harry and Ron, then all hell would break loose.
'Y/N!'
You looked up from the table. Lately, you had been zoned into your own thoughts.
'Sorry.. what?' You asked.
'You are so distracted.. is everything okay?' Hermione asked.
'Yeah, everything is fine. I'm just tired.' You quickly said.
You looked at Ron and Harry, who were sitting a few meters away. They were just staring at you two. You looked away again. You just couldn't bring yourself to talk to them.
'Are you sure it's just that?' She asked.
You nodded.
'Did you talk to Draco?' She then asked.
You just nodded again. You didn't want to talk about it. You visited Draco every once in a while. He seemed to be happy they weren't completely terrified of him.
'So how did it go?'
'He's still my boyfriend, so it went well.' You said while sitting up.
'Don't you think it's a little.. wrong? He hexed someone..'
You looked at her. Was she joining Ron and Harry? Not approving of this relationship? No.. She supported you.. right? She was the only one who understood.
'You can join Harry and Ron with that attitude.' You said in disappointment.
You looked away from her. Your eyes moved along the castle. Something didn't feel right. Something was going to happen. Your gut just felt it coming.
'Y/N, I'm sorry but.. It's kinda not supposed to be that way.' She said. 'We're not allowed to hex students. Aren't you a little upset about it?'
You just shrugged and didn't look at her. Hermione sighed.
'Beautiful day today.' She said, trying to change the subject.
'Don't try to change the bloody subject. You're the only one who approved and now you're just like the others.' You hissed.
You looked back at her. Hermione saw that she hurt you but she couldn't help but be a little sceptical. It wasn't normal to hex people. She had the feeling like you knew more about it.
'Y/N.. I'm sorry but I just don't think-'
'I don't care about what you think! Alright?! I get it.'
You got up.
'Y/N, don't do this.'
'Do what? Walk away? You were the only one who got me. I guess I was wrong.'
You walked away from her. Hermione didn't even run after you. Maybe she never agreed but just tried to be your friend. How could she ever? A guy who called her mudblood every day.. bullied her and her best friends..
You walked into the castle. Ron and Harry were just hanging out in a corridor.. they looked at you. You looked at them but decided to keep walking.
'Y/N-' You heard Harry say.
'Don't you call me that.' You hissed while turning around. 'Don't you dare talk to me. I thought it was bad that you didn't approve of me dating him.. but hurting him like that.. that's the only unforgivable thing that happened.'
'But I-'
'I don't even want to hear it. It's probably better this way, anyway.'
You walked away from him, not willing to hear anything he had to say.
Your legs carried you to the hospital wing. You had to see Draco. You had to talk to him. He could contort you.. right?
You walked in and approached his bed. The sun was shining through the curtains. It was visible on the bottom of his face. He was resting again. There wasn't much else he could do.
You smiled a little. You didn't want to wake him up. He looked so peaceful. You didn't want to wake him up. It was probably the only time he wasn't worrying. You quietly grabbed a stool and sat down besides his bed.
'Oh brilliant.. You're here.'
You looked back and saw Pansy.
'Just be quiet. He's resting.' You whispered.
You looked back at Draco and smiled.
'I didn't think you'd-'
'Shhhh.' You said.
She couldn't believe that you didn't allow her to speak to you.
'Who do you think you're talking to?!' She hissed.
'Can you shut up?' You whispered. 'He needs to rest and you're being annoying.'
'Annoying?!' She almost yelled.
You looked at Draco as he opened his eyes. He turned his head and his almost silver eyes looked at you two.
'She what you've done!' You hissed. 'Sorry, Dray.. I was trying to get her to be quiet.'
He smiled.
'You can always wake me up when you get here.' He spoke still a little sleepy.
You blushed and leaned in to kiss him shortly. You grabbed his hand and held it.
'What are you doing here?' Draco asked while looking at Pansy.
'I'm your friend! I'm worried about you!'
'Well, I actually want to talk to Y/N right now.. so if you could give us some pravicy.'
She looked very offended.
'I'm not leaving.' She stated.
Draco sighed and looked at you. You looked at Pansy.
'Please?' You tried.
'No!' She hissed.
Madam Pomfrey walked towards you.
'Is there a problem?' She asked.
You looked at Pansy.
'She's being kinda loud and Draco really needs his rest.' You said.
'Oh.. miss, I'm going to have to ask you to leave then.'
Pansy shot you a disgusting look and walked out. That went easier than you expected. Madam Pomfrey allowed you two to talk to for a moment.
'Why did you want to talk to me?' You asked.
'I just wanted to spend some time with you.'
You smiled and Draco moved over so you could sit on the edge of his bed. You sat down and grabbed his hand again while looking at his beautiful face.
'I love you.' He said. 'I hope you remember that.'
'Of course.' You smiled. 'I love you too.'
'I mean, like I really love you. I hope you believe me and I hope that you know that.' He said.
His smile was gone. He was being really serious right now. As if he was going to die.
'Is there something wrong?' You asked.
'No.. no, I just.. I just wanted you to know that.'
You looked at him.
'Of course I know that.' You reassured him.
You leaned in and kissed him, but you still had the feeling that something was up..
