You made your way outside. Everyone gathered there to wait for Harry to return. Of course you noticed your favourite blonde. You ran over to him right away. He turned around and you hugged him right away.

Draco held you tightly. You cried right away when you saw him. You just were very happy to see him alive. To feel some love from someone.

'What's wrong?' He asked.

He let you go and wiped your tears away.

'I'm just happy to see you. To get some love.' You sniffed. 'My father didn't make it.'

'Oh my god, are you okay?' He asked in shock while hugging you again.

'I am now.. I should go on for him and mum. I felt like giving up but I have hope because of you.'

Draco let you go and kissed you. You kissed him back right away. This was something you really needed. Draco pulled back.

'Who's that? Who's that Hagrids carrying?' You heard Ginny ask.

You turned around. A group of death eaters was approaching you. Harry? Harry was dead w wasn't he?

'Neville, who is it?' She asked.

'Harry Potter is dead!' Voldemort screamed.

'NO!' Ginny yelled.

You looked at Draco. This was going to be the moment of truth. This was going to make or break your relationship.

'Silence.' Voldemort spoke while casting a spell, keeping her at distance. 'Stupid girl! Harry Potter is dead!' He spoke while stepping forwards. 'From this day forth, you'll put your faith in me.' He spoke while pointing at himself.

He smiled and turned around to speak to his followers.

'Harry Potter is dead!' He shouted happily.

All the death eaters laughed while your heart broke. You were nervous and scared.

'And now it's time to declare yourself. Come forwards and join us... or die.' He spoke.

'Draco...' Lucius spoke.

'Draco.' You said.

Draco didn't answer and started walking away. You hurried after him and tried to grab him. You tried to stop him.

You lost everything. He was the only one you had left. He couldn't go to the dark side and betray you like this. He promised you.

'Stop.' You said while grabbing his arm.

You were standing in front of everyone. Voldemort was right behind Draco.

'Y/N, let me go.' Draco said harshly but soft in volume.

'No, I won't let you ruin your life like this.'

You looked at Lucius. Anger about everything he did was crossing you. About your mother, About Draco..

'No, you shut up!' You hissed.

'How dare you.' Lucius hissed at you.

'Draco..' You said.

He looked at his parents and then back at you. He had to stay.

'Don't do this.' You followed.

'Y/N, my parents-'

'No. Stop Draco.' You said. 'Don't do this.' You repeated. 'Don't ruin your life like this.'

Draco didn't say anything. People were just staring at you two. Even voldemort didn't speak. He was kinda curious about where this was heading.

'Aren't you tired?' You asked. 'Aren't you tired of constantly pretetending to be someone you're not? Aren't you tired of having your life controlled? Aren't you tired of the lies and secrets all the time? Isn't it time to stop all of that?'

'You don't understand.' Draco said.

'I do. I do Draco. I understand. I've seen a side of you that no one has even seen before. No one was allowed to see that. You're not mean. You're not selfish, you're not emotionless.. You're not evil. Your father is. Voldemort is. They've been telling you that you are for your entire life and look what happened. You're here, standing in front of everyone, making the choice whether you're going to ruin your life or betray your so called "family".'

'Draco has already made his choice. Look at his arm.' Lucius said.

'Did you ask him?' You asked.

Lucius didn't quite seem to understand what you were aiming for.

'Did you ask him whether or not he wanted to serve voldemort and fuck up his life for good? You didn't, did you?'

'He never said he didn't want to.' Lucius said.

'Because if he would say that you'd get angry at him and still force him, so what's the point? He didn't make this decision, you did. You were the one ruining his life.' You snapped. 'And I don't think that Narcissa fully agrees with you sacrificing your son either.'

'Y/N, Stop. Can't you see that I have to do this?'

'You promised me.' You said while looking at him.

Draco sighed.

'I can't keep every promise I make.'

'It was the only promise I asked you to make.'

Draco didn't say anything and walked away from you.

'I lost everything Draco.' Draco stopped. 'Your father killed my mother, my dad was murder by death eaters and I don't know that rest of my family. You're all I have.' You choked. 'I won't lose you to the death eaters too. I can't. How am I supposed to go on with no one? I'm tired too. The effort I put into us. I can't go on with you. I want everything to stop I just want you.'

'You don't have him left. He doesn't care about what happens to you.' Lucius said. 'You're just a traitor.'

'Just because my family made the choice you didn't decide to make, doesn't make me a traitor. It makes them good parents.' You bit. 'Draco please don't do it. You're not like this. This is your chance to prove that. I need you.'

Those words actually did a lot to Draco. He needed you too. You changed him in a way no one ever could. He knew he needed you. Losing you wasn't something he wanted.

Before you knew it Draco turned around, ran over to you and kissed you. You kissed him back right away. Voldemort wanted to cast a spell at you two but Hermione made sure it didn't hit you. Draco turned back around, shielding you from him.

'No! No stop! My Lord.. Lucius and I will keep following you, we will be your followers if you just leave Draco alone. I promise you.' Narcissa said.

You grabbed Draco's hand and slowly pulled him back into the crowd.

'What is this nonsense.'

'Oh yeah, by the way father, me and Y/N are dating.' Draco said when you two were safely shielded by the crowd.

Draco laid his hand on Hermione's shoulder she turned around.

'Thank you, Granger.'

She smiled.

'Call me Hermione.' She said.
