here i am. i decided to come alone on the first day. i wanted to be alone with them.
"hi mommy. i daddy. i miss you guys so much," i try not to choke on my tears. "i hope you guys are in a better place. those people wh- who killed you deserve to go to hell. i hope you've been watching me & taking care of yourselfs. it was weird to find out i have a sister. i don't get why you guys kept us apart but i'm sure it was a good reason."

by this point i'm in tears.

"gabriela is gonna be here tomorrow. & so is zach. zachs my boyfriend. he's in a band. he's treated me so well. i love him so much. he's 17. i hope you guys like him. in fact , i think you guys would've loved him. he's so respectful of me. he would've respected you guys too. i really hope to marry him. this year so far has been hell. but i love it here. i do miss hike sometimes. back in Florida with you guys. i- i don't un- understand why you guys had to leave me." i cry.
"i love you guys so much. i'll see you tomorrow mommy & daddy."
