~ two years later ~

i'm walking down the grocery store with my little two year old , vanessa gonzalez herron. we needed food for the house so we came here.

"mwommy i wanna cady!!" vanessa whines
"okay we will after we get food for mommy to make dinner." vanessa pouts

i open the freezer to get a bag of frozen food. i close the door & turn to get vanessa. she isn't there. i suddenly start to panic

"vanessa! where are you!"

•zachs pov•

"cmon man let's go get some kit kats."

the guys agree & we see a little girl trying to reach for the kit kats but pouts & crosses her arms when she realizes she can't.

"do you need some help?" i ask her with a sweet tone

"yesh pweaseee!" she holds her hands together

i reach for the bag as she claps in excitement

"vanessa !! there you are omg i was looking for you ! don't you ever walk away from me like that!"

"but mwommy! i want cady & dis man helping me !"

"vivian?" i say in disbelief

"zach."

let me go back 2 years. zach & i got into a fight before the band went on a world tour. i yelled at him to get out of the house & he did. the boys left with him cause "zach needed their support." i got sick but it turned out i was pregnant. i didn't tell zach cause well we broke up. gabbie went through it all with me & lemme say she was the best.
now , back to where we are .

"zach" my stomach feels week.
this can't be true. he's standing right in front of me.

"she's yours ?"

"uh yeah i gotta go"

i grabbed vanessa & went to self check out.

"mwommy who was that?"

"just an old friend sweetie nothing to worry about"

i see zach & his friends at the corner of my eye & he's getting closer.

"hey vivian let me get your number please. i'd like to talk with you. the band is taking a break from touring so we can chill but still make music."

"it's the same number zach."

"she's cute. vanessa, i mean. is she mine ?"

"we can talk later zach."

i grab my stuff & leave.
