it's been a month . i'm actually going a lot better . i haven't cut or had any depressing thoughts . we're back at school & everyone knows about me & zach dating . i was in chemistry when i get called up to the office . me & zach give each other weird looks . i never get called up . anyways , i go & i see the principal waiting for me .
principal : ms.gonzalez , take a seat . i have something to tell you .
vivian : o-okay . i was getting nervous so i start cracking my knuckles .
principal: your parents . they , they . he sighs .
vivian : no , no . don't tell me they're - i get caught off .
principal: vivian , i'm so sorry for your loss . i have their will . it says what happens with all their money & who it goes to . i'm very sorry vivian .
vivian : th- tha- thank you. i say crying . can i get excused for like , a week ? along with zach herron please ?
principal: of course .
i walk out & go grab my stuff . me & zach are walking & i told him what happened . i told him not to say anything cause i knew he was gonna say sorry & it wasn't his fault .
vivian : should i read the will ?
zach : if you're ready & want to . just know , i'm here for you baby . i love you.
vivian : love you to zachy .
i start reading & more tears come out . then , i read something that made my heart stop . " we love you both vivian & gabriela. " i have a sister .
vivian : zach ... i say in a whisper . i have a sister . gabriela.
