Jonathan Kent watch as his best friend's family slowly pieced itself back together. He was just waiting for his mother to come get him. Alfred had called to tell them she was on her way. He heard a familiar click of heels walking down the hall. He silently left to go greet her and let her meet the former Batfamily.
"Jon," she sighs as he opened the door. "I'll never be able to pull one over you and your father can I?"
"Sorry mom," the preteen grinned at her. Behind him yells of anger caused Lois Kent, former Lane, to perk up in glee. It's always fun to watch a superhero family argue. Even if it's only over a cookie.
"I want real food," Timothy had Damian in a headlock. "Cereal and Vegan food isn't going to cut it!" Jason quietly agreed from his limp form on the floor.
"It is too real food!" Dick glared. "Cereal is the food of the gods!"
"Vegan is good for you Drake, but I sadly must share that cereal isn't real food," Damian glared at his family. Who knew running away would get him a real family.
Jon and Lois watched in glee as Dick tackled Tim, missing Damian by a hair's breath. All three older males though it wasn't fair that Damian was missed. So they tackled him together.
"Hello boys," Lois grabbed their attention. "How are you this evening?"
"Mrs. Kent!" Colin chirped from the couch, holding popcorn; he had gotten it to watch the family fight. "Popcorn?"
"No thank you Colin," she smiled happily at him. "I'll be taking my son back now boys. Be prepared for his father." The Batboys rolled their eyes. As scary as he seems, Superman is the biggest pushover to ever pushover. As long as you're not a villain that is.
