my hands slip out of Nicole hands the last thing i said to her is that i loved her and i was going to see Chris Gunner that was the only thing that i remembered. my mind went completely blank and i had no idea what happen. i woke up to find myself back at the homestead Nicole again was sitting in the chair holding my hand this felt one of those deja va moments

"hay what happen "

"you fainted when you were interviewing chris "

" i don't remember that "

"can you remember what was the last thing you saw"

"um leaving you to interview him and saying that i love you then ...nothing"

"wait did i hurt anyone...wheres Wynonna "

Nicole placed her hand on top of mine trying to calm me down

"she fine...she fine "

"so what happen "

"well when you place your hand on Chris this time it was different a white light started to appear from your hands Wynonna tried to stop you but you past out just in time you did any damage "

i looked at the door seeing Wynonna leaning against the door frame

"how you feeling "

"deja ve moment everything is replay it self ...so how long have i been out "

"about an hour "

"so what happen to Chris"

"well he fine he still at the station for more questioning for now you better get some rest" placing a kiss on my forehead "ill leave you two in peace"

"she right you know you haven't really gave yourself a chance to process anything just give yourself a couple days"

"that's just it don't want to just here sit and do nothing especially when you are out there where you might be in danger "

"hay if it makes you feel any better i could ask if i can take a couple of days off if that stops you from moaning "

Nicole placed a smile back on to my face

"i think that would make my days a bit better" placing a kiss on Nicole cheek as Nicole moved her head placing another kiss on my lips. Nicole wrapped her arms around my waist and i just sunk into her chest and fell asleep

after a couple of days

Me being back at work doesn't make me feel worried about Nicole i can always keep an eye on her if something happens to her my life will be broke a part if something did happen. Wynonna thought it was a good idea to be on patrol just in case anything mega happens.

"do you want some doughnuts i can drive along there to get some if you want... ill can get your favourite "

we went to the doughnut store that was right around the corner from the station nicole went out and went inside the store to get the doughnut and came back in a hurry

"there been a murder at shorty's again "

"what again is it a bit weird that there been a murder twice"

"yeah i know "

Nicole started the engine and made are way to shorty's as we went in this time the murder was different as the last one there were 3 stab wounds directly to the heart. Nicole went to speak to the bar tender for some question and i made notes of what happen .As we finished talking we both tried to figure out what happen i placed my hand toward the body and then my mind was like inside his mind before this began the worst thing was feeling the pain that he went through and the my mind came back to reality.
