"Hay Nedley I have just finished the paperwork anything else that I need to do before I go?"
"Nope that's all... you can now leave"
"Alright I see you tomorrow"
I grabbed my coat from the chair and swiftly put it on. As I walked towards the door two small feet appeared in front of me.
as I raised my head I saw these two perfect eye staring at me with a soft smile I couldn't resist of smiling back
"Hi are you new itss.. just I haven't seen you before"
I raised my hand to give her and handshake her hand felt so smooth and gentle
"Oh, it's Nicole. Nicole Haught"
"nice to meet you, officer Haught. I'm Waverly Earp"
"Yeah,I know you. you are very popular around here aren't you"
"yep that's me I'm just waiting for my sister to finish off "
"and your sister is... Wynnona I presume"
"yep the one and only"
"Well it nice meeting you Waverly Earp ill see you around"
as I walked towards the door I quickly looked back and gave Waverly a smirk
Waverly Pov
(The next day)
i was doing a late shift at shorties and i was nearly finished cleaning the beer tap and a sudden pull from the tap a spray of alcohol gotten me all soaking
"i didn't know shorties does wet shirt competition "
i looked for the familiar voice and it was her standing at the door leaning against the wooden frame smile at me i smile back . but i couldn't help but to stare. she took her hat off
"hay w..what are you doing here"i asked in a trembling voice
she walk over toward the bar and place her hat on the counter
"oh i just thought ill drop in and say hi before you finish work i hope that's ok"
"aw that's really sweet of you"
i grabbed a towel from the side of the counter
"can you um just you know "
"oh OK "
she turned around so i can take of my shirt as i tried to get off and them
"oh shoot!..um ...officer i'm a little stuck can you "
"oh ...right... OK "
she came around the bar and helped me take off my shirt
"its great that your not some kind of guy right beeecause ...this well be really awkward... i owe you one "
"alright what about you buy me a cup of coffee what about tomorrow?"
"oh i cant i am busy you know helping Wynonna with cases and doing shifts here i'm a very busy person "
"oh OK some other time then "
she placed her business card on the table with her phone number on it she grabbed her hat and started walked toward the door
"i mean it" she said as left
i looked at the business card and got my phone out and made a new contact
As I was looking at my phone I see 1 missed call and 1 new message from Wynonna
