Third POV
The last time they saw each other was that Saturday nights house party, after that everything changed. Haniya confined herself in the four walls of her room. She was not eating nor drinking anything. Whenever anyone came into her room she was mostly sleeping or acting that she is actually asleep.
She hated him form the depth of her heart. She cringed on taking his name. She hated herself for choosing face over character. She wanted her life to be just like she use to dream but Shayan destoryed everything.
It was a normal day, after many days Mrs. Khan went in her room to see her whether she is okay. It was like not her, she was always there to have breakfast with them but now a day she was not even coming out of her room.
"Haniya are okay?" she asked while sitting beside her.
"Mama!" she straightened on her bed.
"Hmm" She said while brushing her hair.
"Mama .... I ......dont want to marry Shayan anymore." She said through her clogged throat.
"What!!?" Mrs. Khan yelled, making her shut her eyes in fear.
"I dont want to marry him" She said while clutching the sheet covering her.
"But why?" Mrs. Khan questioned her.
"Mama! I just dont want to" she said hiding her tears.
"If you both had a fight then its normal and I am not turning down your wedding for a stupid reason" Mrs. Khan said while frowning.
"Mama! I dont want to get married she said as curled herself on the bed bringing the sheet more close to her face.
"Haniya ..... all couples have fight after some time they get normal." Mrs. Khan said but she didnt knew that now nothing could get normal. Everything was destroyed.
"Mama please!" She pleaded.
"Haniya its all normal." She said while brushing her hair.
"No its not normal" She wailed.
"If you are trying to say, to delay the wedding. I will do that but I will not let you break this engagement. For god sakes people are asking me. When you two will get married and here you are saying to me that you dont want to marry him." She said while knitting her brows further while Haniya sobbed silently.
"Haniya please if you want to take a break you can go the farm house till Shayan comes back form America. You can rest there but Then when he will come you will solve your problems but I am not gonna break this engagement off at any cost." she huffed and went out leaving a Haniya in her deep mess.
The next day she decided to leave for their farm house within next few hours.
Placing her bags in the living room she said good bye to her family and left for the farm house. She used to go there in her summer vacations.
Sitting in the car she wailed on her fate. She was all alone. She longed for Haya or someone she could share her miseries with. She had only her Allah with her.
After Haniya left for the farm house the house was empty now there was only Mr. Khan, Mrs. Khan and a army of servants they had.
Mrs. Khan knew that they were having problems but she never knew the intensity of their problems that made Haniya to leave.
