Pariah Tangeth stood atop the roof of the empire state building, his arms folded and his face stoic. He is enjoying the warm breeze as it flows through his platinum blonde hair and gives hint at the coming of dawn.
To say he was satisfied with the destruction he caused to the city would be just about right. He couldn't help but smile. But what made that smile vanish was when he saw Abrahaun die gruesomely at the hands of Ivy. Only then did he see the severity of the situation.
He is now on his own.

The small group entered back inside and headed for the top. Upon reaching the staircase leading to the rooftop, Stevenson halts in her walk, causing Ace and the Flowerbots to look back.
Stevenson: I think I should sit this one out. I'll only get in the way.
Ace and Prome exchange sympathetic glances before looking back at the detective. Prome turns to his accomplices.
Prome: Sideswipe, Ramesses, You two accompany miss Ivy toward the battlefield. We will catch up.
The two take a quick bow before walking side by side with the werewolf up the stairs while Giovanni walks ahead of them. Ace and Prome stay by Stevenson.
Stevenson: No, don't feel bad for me. I already knew the deal. Ace, your an alien bio-weapon. Ivy is some werewolf with wings. Giovanni's a ghost dog. And you are a bunch of hi-tech flower robots. But me? I'm just a human. A human who's way over her head.
Ace placed a hand on her shoulder, gently massaging it.
Ace: You've done more than enough to help. Don't start feeling useless.
The woman gave raised an eyebrow and lightly chuckled at his assumption. She's not feeling useless, per say, just feeling as though she's not suited for this scenario.
Stevenson: Well, what more can I do to help here? I've got no powers. All I've got are bullets and their about as useful as a burro in a bullfight.
Prome: Oh, I wouldn't count yourself out just yet. After all, we did say we will help you to help him. You'll love it, I'm sure.
Stevenson: (now intrigued by Prome's words) What do you got in mind?
Prome slowly forms a wicked smile on his yellow metal face. Ace has a faint idea on where this is going.

Tangeth was waiting patiently for his adversaries to come for him. He may have been putting on an emotionless facade, but deep down, he was feeling anxious and excited.
To him, this is not only the fight for his life but for the world as the humans know it. This is the unexpected culmination of everything that's happened since he sent Ace to this planet last month.
It'll also prove to his superiors that Tangeth is worthy of the title of pariah. Even with this in mind, though, Tangeth knows very well that this isnt just war.
Its survival.
Just then, Ace climbs up onto the rooftop alone and walks a couple feet towards the center. Letting out low growls upon seeing his creator, interrupting the Nordic's thoughts.
Tangeth: (smirking, without facing Ace) I want you to know that I'm mildly impressed with how far you've come. If you can believe that.
Ace: Is that so?
Turning around to face the alien, Tangeth still has his arms crossed though.
Tangeth: You know what they told me when I first suggested the idea to the Elder Clerics on my homeworld? That it was doomed to fail. That there was no peaceful ending to this. (Looking down) and, as fate would have it, they were right.
