The swamp is the most ideal place for alot of purposes.

Be it traveling, hiking, hunting or just sight seeing.

But for Fondante? He's currently using the location as a hiding spot. The italian slowly and anxiously lifts his head up from the moist soil to scan his surroundings for danger. Particularly for any raging, monster girls. Aptly named Ivy Blaire.

He then dips his head back down to conceal himself. Hopefully the mud would mask his scent.

That's when the sound of splashing, wet footsteps rose up from the usual noisy swamp.

Fondante's breathing became erratic with each new step was heard. Ivy's crazed eyes gazed around the area, dripping with feral rage.

She smelled the air and instantly whipped her head in a certain direction. At this point, She could see the blood flow of all living things in her line of sight. Frogs, fish, birds. She could see their major and minor veins as their blood flowed through them.

Ivy tipped her head sideways when she spotted the blood flow of a person, lying in the mud in a rather pathetic attempt to hide.

The Monstrous Girl let loose a snarl before sprinting at lightning fast speed towards the grounded italian, who looks up just in time to see her lunging for his neck.

Though, He quickly reveals the shotgun he had hid under his body and opens fire on her mid-air. Shoots her right on the side of her head, blasting a ample hole where her left eye once was as she fell backwards in the mud.

Fondante stands over her downed body and chuckles pridefully. Not before firing 2 shots into her stomach. She cries out in immense pain.

Fondante: oh my dear, so you finally decide to show your true colors? Your timing couldnt be any more awful.

Monster Ivy groans angrily and painfully as blood flows from the wounds.

Fondante: Well I'll leave you to lay there, hopefully as uncomfortable as possible. I've got recipes to find.

Ivy weakly swings her claws at Fondante, who laughs and fires another shot into her forehead, rocking her neck back.

Fondante: And you.......

The water stirs as something large slowly rises from the depths.

Fondante: Have a monster to feed. Addio ragazza. I can't say it's been a pleasure but its refeshing to see what you really are....

Ivy's remaining eye sends daggers of anger towards Fondante, who simply smiled.

Fondante: .......... A freak.

Then, Fondante dashes from the scene. Leaving the currently regenerating Ivy at the mercy of the large creature that rose from the Swamp's river and crawls over to Ivy. Standing above her in all its glory.

Ivy's head is nearly fully healed as the river monster snapped its jaws on her legs, thrashing her about before diving underwater with the regenerating ivy stuck in its mouth.

As it dives down, Ivy, now panicking, starts thrashing and squirming in its grip. She claws and scratches at its snout, leaving bleeding wounds. However, the monster maintains its strong grip and bites down harder on her legs, blood pouring though the water.

Letting out a gurgled roar, Ivy sinks her claws into the monster's eye, gouging it out. Only st this point did the river monster finally let her go.

Though wounded, Ivy swims back to the surface and jumps onto the muddy but dry land. Her wounds quickly heal as she leaps 15 ft in the air to avoid the snapping jaws of the monster when it hurled itself out the water.

It crashed onto land as Ivy landed on its back. She immediately sliced up it's back, leaving painful clawmarks as the monster growled in pain. It began to buck and heave, trying to throw the monster girl off.

When that didnt work, it unexpectedly did a barrel roll. Nearly crushing the girl under its weight. Once it was right side up again, it turned to see ivy grabbing its mighty tail.

With one heave, Ivy pulled and hurled the possibly 11 ton monster  through the air and watched as it crashed through a bunch of trees.

Ivy ran to the creature and, with a shout, rammed her fist to the monster's snout. Knocking out a few teeth.

The monster shook its head dizzily and snapped its jaws at her, however, Ivy was too quick and easily dodged every snap of the jaws before grabbing hold of its jaws.

The creature struggled violently trying to keep its maw shut but the superior strength of the young berserker pryed those jaws open.

Ivy savagely bit the creatures tongue and ripped it out. Then continued to push the jaw far beyond its limit until she ultimately broke its jaw with a very satisfying.....

Snap.

The bear lake monster's body went limp as its head slouched on the ground.

Ivy growled angrily at the creature.

Panting, She then walked over to the waters edge and gazed into the river, seeing her reflection.

Ivy gasps at the frightening visage that stared back at her. She then looked at her bloody, clawed hands.

Ivy: (In a rough voice) Fondante...... was right....... (Sobbing) I truly am a freak.

She quietly cries to herself while uttering to herself that she's a freak of nature and seeing her reflection isn't helping much.

Streams of tears roll down her bluish cheeks

Just then, the sound of multiple footsteps reach her ears. Now alert, Ivy spins around to see the source. And her vision lands

On a puppy. Strange. It looked too young to be out here by itself. How did it get out here by itself? Is it lost? Nonsense. Dogs don't get lost. All these thoughts swirled around in Ivy's frontal lobe as she stood up and slowly approaching the canine when it let out warning barks at her, stopping her dead in her tracks.

Ivy, still angry, growled at the pup. Who began to back down while whimpering.

Feeling slightly guilty, Ivy approached the pup again to comfort it only for it to run back into the direction it came.

Ivy: W-Wait!

Before she could pursue, however, A familiar, approaching scent filled her nostrils.

Looking far off in the direction of the scent, Ivy spots a figure. A tall figure. Who stopped upon seeing ivy.

Ivy instantly knew who it is. 10 ft tall, Spades-shaped cowl, 4 mechanical legs. A orange face with W-shaped pupils and a currently confused expression.

Ivy: Ace..........

At first, Ivy didnt know how to respond. But soon, anger came flowing and she let out a growl and pointed a clawed finger.

Ivy: you....... you left me........
