Ivy: .... Yes.... yes I am....
Though she didn't show it, Ivy found the current situation to be very extraordinary. Ivy couldn't remember much beyond a couple minutes ago, but it dawned on her that she wasn't expecting herself to still be alive.
As a werewolf no less.
Stevenson: Well, if it's all the same to you, those aliens went into the empire state building.
She pointed towards the tall skyscraper and Ivy followed her gaze.
Stevenson: And they've gotta be stopped. Me and the flower robots here will watch over Ace. He'll heal up in a minute.
Ivy: I'll fight them. Just like Ace, I have a score to settle with them. Heed my words, this feud ends today.
Before Stevenson could object, Ivy ran into the building on all fours and charged through the evacuated lobby and up the emergency stairs.
Elsewhere in the building, Tangeth and his accomplice are on the balcony watching the chaotic scene unfold down below.
Both had their arms folded and looked down. They saw how the cyborg sasquatch was effortlessly destroyed and how the girl revealed herself to still be alive. And stronger than ever.
Tangeth: The girl lives. I'd expect nothing less from her at the point in time.
Abrahaun: And she's coming for us.
After a brief pause, Tangeth turns to his accomplice and places a hand on his shoulder.
Tangeth: Go greet Miss Blaire. Have her pay for the destruction of the ship and the senseless deaths of our squadron.
Abrahaun silently nodded while a malicious smile plastered on his face. He left the balcony, leaving the pariah to think by himself.
On the 25th floor, Ivy bursts through the doors and sprints down the broken down hallways. The ceiling lights were flickering and the walls were cracked. Ivy mostly ignored them as she made her way through the hall.
Outside, Stevenson sat cross-legged beside the unconscious Flatwoods monster and amazingly watched his burnt face and neck heal up and return to their shiny smooth textures. He'll be waking up anytime now.
Prome: He is an extraordinary warrior. Someone that many should aspire to be like. He reminds me of the warriors of my home world.
Stevenson wasn't listening though. Just blankly watched Ace's breathing go from slow and steady to quick and heavy. Until the alien's eyes shot open and he gasped fearfully before sitting up fast, making everyone around him jump back slightly.
His eyes darted all around the area, looking for the Cyborg-sasquatch. Upon realizing its absence, he turned his attention to the detective, who's got her hands up and a worried look.
Stevenson: (softly) easy..... easy big guy.
Sideswipe: Calm yourself, Flatwoods Monster. The Cyborg-sasquatch has been slain. Ivy has revealed herself to still be alive.
Ace gave him a quizzical look. Did he hear that right? A huge wave of hope began to fill Ace's emotional walls. He couldn't believe it at first but the robotic flower only gave him a stern gaze and Stevenson nodded at him which only confirmed the statement.
Ace: Where is she now?

Ivy charged down a wide spaced room that lead to a door which lead to the balconies. Suddenly, the large crystal chandelier came crashing down in front of her, halting her advances.
