"Ah, finally. The portal," Dark says, grateful that we got here before the storm got worse.

I nod, rolling up my sleeve, Dark doing the same. We have to have our demon symbols visible to we can get through. No one can see them besides ourselves and our bloodline.

We get the clear to go through, and we're then transported to the Underworld, A.K.A, our world.

"Time zones fucking suck," I groan, lying tiredly on the window.

"It's the same time as it was over there. What are you talking about?" Dark giggles.

"I know, I'm tired," I whine.

"Then go to sleep when we get home. We're almost there, glitch." He grasps my hand, rubbing the back of it with his thumb.

"Mm," I answer, already falling asleep.

-

I awake slightly when I'm lifted into the air. I place my hand on his chest and snuggle into his warmth.

"Shh, it's okay. I got everything," he whispers, smoothly carrying me to our bedroom after he successfully unlocks our door on the first try.

-

I scream, sitting up quickly and scooting away, pushing away nothing but air.

"Anti! It's okay, it's okay," he holds down my arms in a cross and brushes hair out of my face.

"Baby boy, breathe, it's okay. It's me, Dark. You're okay." When he loosens his grip on me, I relax my body. I breathe heavily, tears streaming down my face.

"I swear to the devil, he was real. H-he-" I cut myself off with a sob. "He grabbed you. He t-took you away from m-me. He k-killed y-you r-right in front of me!" I yell, not being able to get the image of Dark's dead body out of my head.

"I'm here. I'm right here, okay?" He says, cupping my face and touching my shoulders to let me know he was real.

"Come on," he says, crawling off the bed. "We can make some hot chocolate and watch a movie. Does that sound okay?"

I nod, shakily climbing out of the bed. He rushes over to my side and I cling onto him like a koala bear.

Walking out of our room, he gently sets me down on the couch.

"I'll be right back, okay? I'm gonna go make our drinks," he kisses my forehead and walks away into the kitchen.

I look around the room. There's no one in here besides me. Taking a deep breathe, I flick on the television. Searching for a movie, Dark walks back in with two cups in his hand.

"Find one yet?" He sets the cup on the coffee table in front of me.

"It's between Annabelle or the Shallows," I say, letting him pull me into his lap.

"Hm, are you sure you wanna watch a horror movie?" He asks, already knowing the answer.

"Yeah, they make me feel better," I say, clicking on Annabelle.

"Okay," he runs his hands through my hair as the movie begins.
