"You're not that short" Jonah explains to me, trying to make me feel better."You couldn't even tell I was in the photo because I'm tiny" I say pouting. We just got our break from our shoots and we were getting coffee. I was vlogging because my makeup looked fire and honestly I was just feeling myself. "Can we get an uber? My feet are sore" I said to the boys. Jack laughs at me "Well if you weren't so short you wouldn't have to wear heels in all your shoots." I shoot a glare at him and the rest of the boys laughed. Jordan came back out from the coffee shop with everyone's drinks and hands them out, stating what they were. "Medium iced latte with soy milk, two shots of caramel and one shot of vanilla, extra half shot of espresso and one sugar" he says handing mine to me. "How the hell do you remember that?" Corbyn asks in shock causing Jordan to laugh "She's been drinking coffee for five years and the only thing that has changed from her order was regular milk to soy milk. She never has something different" He says, rolling his eyes. I smile back at him and he glares at me then my camera, reminding me to pick it back up and vlog. "I want an instagram pic" I state, causing Jordan to glare at me yet again and roll his eyes "you fucking normie" he replies. The rest of the boys seemed confused by the way we talked to each other. "Go stick your head in rotten fairy bread you bloody Gillard" I reply, picking up my camera "We're Australian!" I say to my vlog, causing Jordan and I to burst out laughing, Jack looked at Jonah with doubt and then back at me before instantly looking away. It was weird but I dismissed . "Gillard?" Corbyn asks
"Julia Gillard, she was the old Prime Minister of Australia" Jordan replies
"She has a really big sniffer though" I laugh. My phone starts ringing, causing all the attention to go to my phone. It was a call from my manager, Cassie. "Heyoo" I answer
"I have to leave the studio now, bit of a rush. I might have just got you to a record label" She replies.
"Wait what? You're joking. Cassie that's amazing" I beam
"You can thank me later, send me your times for next week so I can work an interview around them"
"I'll send them to you as soon as possible, thank you so much. Bye"
"No problem, talk to you later" She finishes, hanging up. I put my phone back down on the table we were sitting at and smile "Cassie is the best manager I swear to god" Jordan laughs back at me "You complained about her earlier, she can't be that good" I roll my eyes and tried to protest before Jonah cut me off. "It's already four twenty we should start heading back" He says, putting his phone in his pocket. "My feet are sore I'm calling an uber" I reply. Jordan takes my drink away from me and starts to walk away. "Wait no that's mine give it back you rat" I demand, following closely behind him, causing the rest of the boys to follow. "See you can walk" Jordan replied, giving my drink back. "You're lucky I'm too lazy to call an uber" I reply, causing the boys to laugh. My phone buzzes as we were walking back to the studio.
Inferior Carter: Check your subscriber count sis
Superior Half-Carter: Okay bro
I pull up a live time subscriber count to see I was about to hit three million subscribers. "Hey losers I'm about to hit three million subscribers get on my level" I say, nodding my head for my sunglasses to fall perfectly onto my nose. "Go live, I'll film and you can use my phone for the count" Jordan says, snapping out of his snappy attitude. I open Instagram and started going live. Jordan walks infront of me and the boys moved behind me to be in the frame. "Hey guys, I am here with Why Don't We and Jordan, we are heading back to sph studios but I'm about to hit three million subscribers!" I say, the boys cheer behind me. I show Jordans phone with the counter to the stream "Thirteen more people, oh my god, I can't believe this is happening" I say, looking at Jordan, who was holding my vlogging camera. "Four more" Jonah says, causing my heart rate to increase. My fitbit was visible on my wrist and I glance at it briefly. "My heart rate is currently 116, when it's normally at 90 jesus" I say to my live. I look back at Jordans phone. One more person. "One more, oh my god we did it, three million subscribers" I say, tears falling from my eyes. There was an array of congrats from the boys, and the chat was going crazy. Jordan comes closer and films me crying and the boys hugging me. "Thank you guys so so much for everything, I wouldn't be here without you and I need you all to know how grateful I am, for each and everyone of you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I love you all so much" I say to the stream and my vlogging camera. "Sophie is going to kill you, you're mascara is running" Jordan states. Sophie was my makeup artist for my photoshoot, she was planning having the same look for every shoot today but my eyes have interfered with that idea. "I am going to have to end the stream here, we need to get back to the studio so we can finish, I will be going live later though, keep an eye out for that, thank you guys so much, goodbye I love you all." I end the stream and hand Jordan his phone back and he gives me the camera. Zach puts his arm around my waist and pulls me closer to him. "Congratulations babe" he whispers in my ear, making my cheeks go bright red. "Th-Thank you" I stutter, causing him to laugh. We continue walking, Zach keeping his arm firmly around my waist. A familiar van rolls by us, causing Jordan to stop us. "Hollywood fix, be careful" he says, eyeing Zach and I. The van comes to a stop a few feet in front of us and two men hop out with a camera. I didn't know if it was for me or the boys, but I pulled myself out of his grip. A man comes beside me, "Stephanie Avery can we have a few words" he asks. I smile back at him. "Of course! Can we make it quick please, we have to be at the studio soon" The man nods his head, coming closer slightly. "First of all, congrats on 3 million subscribers" He states, offering to shake my hand. I politely take his offer. "Thank you so much, it means a lot to me" I smile. I glance over at Jordan, signalling him to come towards me. The man steps back a bit to fit both me and Jordan in the frame, as Jordan is a lot taller than me. "Did you ever think you'd come this far? You're so young yet accomplished so much." He asks, causing me to chuckle. "I really didn't to be honest, I posted a cover of one song and suddenly my entire life changed. I'm so very grateful for how everything played out, but yeah, I didn't really expect to get to where I am." I shoot a genuine smile towards the camera and then the man. The man smiles back at me. "That's wonderful Stephanie, don't grow up to fast now. Is there anything you'd like to say to anyone? Fans or Family?" He questions. I nod my head ever so slightly, thinking about what to say. "Yes, actually. Thank you so much to the fans for their constant love and support, and my full brother and father, I hope you're proud of me" I say, evidently holding back tears. "Thank you Stephanie, I'm sure they are" He finished, before heading back to his van. Jonah, Daniel and Corbyn were talking with the other guy while Zach and Jack stayed behind me. Jack pulls me into a hug and whispers. "They are proud. Trust me" he said softly. He pulls out of our embrace and even he had slight tears forming. I give him a soft smile. I was confused as to how he knew, but I wasn't going to question a nice gesture. Zach pulls me closer to him, his warm presence calming me down. Jordan smirks at us causing me to roll my eyes. The rest of the boys finally join us and we rush back to the studio. I was greeted by many hugs and congrats, making todays events feel even more real.
