Feeling Welcomed

I headed down the hall, and what I saw amazed me.

"Do you guys have a mansion in here, or something?" I joked. The room in front of me was huge, there was no way it could actually be mine.It had the most fancy but modern bed, an elegant wall color, and cute, little decorations. I walked all the way in, and made a full 360. It was beautiful.  This "apartment" is the definition of deceiving.

"Is this really mine? It's beautiful."

" Yes, it is. I tried to remember all of your favorite designs, and color choices. The guys also helped out. They put a little inspirations of them around the room. Like you see that white, fluffy bean bag? That was Jimin's idea."

Namjoon had already brought your suitcase and bags into the middle of the floor. This was a little awkward though. I mean seven guys living with one girl. Especially one they're already really close with? Let's hope this goes over well with them. So I broke the silence.

"Thank you so much, you guys. You have no idea how much I appreciated Jin's offer. And I'm sorry if I get in the way, or mess your daily lives up. You can completely ignore me if you want."

They all looked at each other. I couldn't really tell what they were telepathically telling  one another. I did take notice on Jin's face, it looked like he was trying to be reassuring, but  failing and looking a little upset and disappointed to see that I felt this way.

Jungkook must've taken notice too, because seconds later he responded to my apology.

"Don't worry about it. We don't mind. If anything we won't leave you alone, rather than completely ignore you. Right guys?"

Taehyung nodded "Yeah JaeHee, don't worry. We are here to help, you won't get in the way. Besides we haven't see you in years, we have so much to talk about."

Hoseok made his way into the conversation too "By the way, how's your life been? We haven't talked in forever."

"Well, thanks you guys. You have no idea." I said being little to effusive. But I got back to his question. I just had to show how thankful I was.

"My life has been going good for the most part, oh and I don't know if she told you Hoseok, but your sister got into the college she's been trying to get into forever. And I was doing great in college, until, you know, I had to leave. That's pretty much it. The rest is kid of boring..."

"Is my sister doing well in college so far?" Hoseok seemed more excited than JiWo when she actually got excepted.

"From what she's been telling me, she's been fine. Just little too many late nights, and coffee."  I laughed because it reminded me of when she texted me a photo of her at two am studying with a huge cup of coffee, and a book bigger than Jin's ego.

Hoseok nodded and smiled at me, on how proud he was if his little sister. "Thanks for telling me.  I'll talk to her later." He grinned from ear to ear, making his eyes form into little crescents.

"JaeHee, are you sure that's it? There's got to be some other stuff going on. Right?" Jin started to dig for more juicy details...

I probably shouldn't tell him about Jackson, he'll start to get possessive again won't he. I raked my brain for anything else to tell then. There really wasn't anything else, making me realize how boring my life is. Oh wait! Maybe I should tell him bout the Avante Garde art competition. Perfect!

"Well, I did enter an "Avante Garde" art event... I entered for fun but ended up winning first place. Is that juicy for you?" I blushed feeling bad about how I felt like I was bragging in front of these people I haven't see in years.

"That's great!" Jimin was in awe about how I won in the art show. He always loved my art, even as a child.

Jin chimed in trying to get deeper "That's wonderful, yes. You already kind of told me that though. Anything else? Wait a second, are you still with Jackson, how is he doing?"

Ahh, there it is. The thing he's been digging for. He finally ripped off the band aid... welp, here we go.

"It's kind of a long story, but we pretty much broke up. It was bound to happen. But it maintains to sting me in the back of my mind from time to time..."

Jin stopped talking and was quiet, realizing what he had done. Other than that there was complete silence. I looked around and saw everyone except Jin, eye each other. Almost like there was electricity in the air as soon as I said that. It felt as if a silent battle was being fought without me even noticing.

"Ummm, ok then. Jin, didn't you mention something about all of us talking over a nice dinner?"

"Yeah, but I mean-"

"Perfect, I'll go get ready now. You guys should get ready too, and you might want to talk about where we should go. I'm new to this place so pick a good restaurant.  I'll be out as soon as I can. Ok, bye!"

I closed my door as fast as possible. Hoping not to seem too rude. That was one awkward situation avoided. Now, what was I to wear.
