While writing this chapter, the laptop that I borrowed from a close friend suddenly went dead. I haven't saved anything! Worst thing is, I am almost done with the whole chapter! Oh what the actual holy crap that is! What I did, I spend the whole night retyping this chapter. I guess it's still worth it right? I'm literally tired so enjoy this chapter!

Pagkatapos mismo ng meeting ay dumiretso kami sa volleyball court. Dapat daw makapag-practice kami kahit isang oras lang, and Megan was going to teach me some basic moves and rules. She was certain I would learn immediately, but I'd rather do algorithm than volleyball. Sport was not really my thing.
While they changed uniforms, nasa gilid lang ako at nagmamadaling sa mga veteran players. Our team captain, as what I've heard was a Music student in her freshmen year and shifted to Media Arts in the middle of the year. I saw familiar faces too, mostly from Visual Arts and Creative Writing classes. Crystal and the other one of my rivals during the Literary event screening was here, the talented graphic artists too.
I sat uncomfortably in the bench, then a ball flew fast right in my face. Buti na lang at nasalo ko agad. Our captain smiled and looked at me with challenged. Kailangan ko atang magpakitang gilas sa kanila ngayon ah.
"On your feet Ms. Talle"
I did what she says, hold the ball in my right hand and dribbled it. After a minute, I realized I wasn't supposed to do basketball.
"Basic and essential skill in volleyball is bump,Talle. The bump is used to hit a ball that is below the head, and is typically used as the first touch to receive a serve or return. If you're going to master volleyball, you'll need to master the bump so you can both receive and pass the ball" she nodded at me and showed me the basic hand position "next, get in position, create a platform with your arms and use your legs to support the strength of your arms. Get it?"
I made sure I was doing it right, but I knew I wasn't. What do I know about the stuffs she was talking about?
I hit the ball the way I interpreted what she said, but it went to the direction I least expect. I hit the girl with pale face and very big glasses. She flinched and I smiled awkwardly. Her lenses broke into small pieces, she scarely picked it up.
"Madali lang naman matutunan ang volleyball Talle. you looked smart I know you can play well"
"Why were you confident with that?"
"Because why not?"
"I didn't play any sports, but at least I can do boxing and wrestling" I smiled with pride. Of course she knew that, I am the might Detention Sweetheart.
