Jordy's pov
We woke up the next morning completely sober, with more energy then ever.
But know excruciating pain.
I slowly fluttered my eyes open looking around the room, we were all a mess on kobies bed. The blood covering the room made me remember what happened last night.
"vampires" I whispered to myself.
I got immediate flashbacks of kobies body. The blood. Abbeys scream.
"don't kill them. Well turn them"
I put my hand on my neck lightly only to screech in pain.
"guys! Guys! Wake up!" blood was smeared all over the walls. An inhuman hunger for it ran through my veins. Connor rolled over and looked at me dead serious, "Jordy your face" he said shocked.
I ran to the mirror next to kobies bed and looked at myself. This was when I realised I was no longer human. My veins popped out of every part of my body. My skin was ghostly white. (kobies hadn't changed much)
The white part of my eyes was completely red. I ran my hand through my hair shocked. Opened my mouth and there they were. Fangs.
I couldn't process it. All I knew was, if I didn't drink blood right now, I was going to lose. My. Shit.
I looked at Connor and saw him staring at the blood on the walls. He turned around and looked at me. His face the same as mine. The red eyes. The fangs. The veins.
"wake them up. I cant.. I can't control it" I said as I began to shake.
We woke everyone up. All of them unable to process what was going on. "I need blood. NOWWW!!!" willow screamed as the look of pure hunger was plastered to her face.
We ran out the front door leaving it wide open, breaking the hinges because we pushed it instead of using the handle.
Our running was so obvious we weren't human. We needed to find something. Anything. That contained blood.
None of us ever felt so uncomfortable in the sun. It was just bearable.
It took us no longer then 30 seconds to find a person walking there dog. We stopped - looked at each other and leaped. Sinking our fangs into any vein we could find, devouring the dog and the man. After a few seconds he stopped twitching, and all you could hear was our gulps. It wasn't long before his body was completely drained.
We all looked at each other. Blood dripping off our chins. "what's going on" Connor said, his voice sounded like he was about to cry.
"mine. Now" kobie said sternly, we made our way back to kobies, leaving the body dumped in the middle of the footpath. We got inside and went into her room which was still covered in blood.
We sat side by side on the bed.
"this isn't real" kobie said quietly.
"I'm pretty sure it is" Connor continued.
"we have to find them" I said. "find who?" abbey asked. "the others." I said.
We spent hours trying to figure out the identity of the vampires from last night. We found nothing.
We researched for longer. Figuring out that at one point, our town was crawling with vampires until the werewolves attacked them and scared them all off.
"there's werewolves too?!" willow yelled. We heard a knock at the door. We were all drenched in blood so kobie quickly cleaned herself up before answering. We stayed in the bedroom.
"what the fuck is happening to us?!" we heard kobie scream. We ran out of her room to see the two boys from last night, rydian and chad.
Antony wasn't there though.
"we'll explain everything." they said walking in the house and into the kitchen. Kobie calmly shut the door. Kobie sat at the table while the rest of us stood around her with our arms crossed.
"firstly, I'd like to apologize. What happened last night was disgraceful of us... " "cut to the chase. What is going on." kobie cut chad off.
"well. Your newborns now. Long story short, you are all immortal monsters. You emotions are magnified. Super strength, vision, hearing, smell, you've got it all. But this isn't a life I would've chosen for myself" rydian told us.
"then why do it to us cunt?!" Tyler yelled.
"listen, it's complicated" chad began holding his hands up. "a lot more complicated then you think. We don't have much time to explain but my best advice would be to leave town. People you love are here. It's hard for newborns to control there hunger" he finished.
"why us dude? We're kids" kobie said. Abbey cried into Tyler's shoulder as he rubbed her back. Willow stood emotionless, her fists clenched.
"my last bit of advice - your emotions are magnified like I said, you have the choice to turn off your humanity whenever you want but it almost impossible to get it back. You won't feel anything. It's what a lot of us do. It's easier that way." rydian said before him and chad both stood up and walked out the door.
"what the fuck" Tyler said.
"he's right. We have to leave" I said. "what? No!" Tyler said. "there's people we love here Jordy" willow said. "I'm not leaving my family." kobie also said. Abbey continued to cry into Tyler's shoulder.
"well I'm leaving. I can't hurt them. Or anyone" I said sternly.
"we arent going to be hurting anyone." Tyler said. "oh really?! We lost control not even that long ago and killed an innocent man! All of us! Like his life didn't matter!" I yelled.
Kobie and willow stared at the floor. The room was silent.
"what if we just leave for a few weeks. Until we learn how to control it" kobie said, her voice breaking as if she was about to cry.
She didn't look up from the floor. My eyes began to tear up. "just for awhile" I said quietly. Kobie stood up. We all huddled in a circle, group hugging. "were in this together. We always have been" I said quietly. The hug got tighter and we were all trying to hide the fact that our hearts were breaking.
We have an eternity.
