Tyler's pov
We walked sadly around kobies house, getting anything we could that would be useful. We didn't know how long we'd be gone for. When we'd need to feed next. Or who we'd hurt.
I no longer felt anxious. Or scared.
I'm invisible.
After a few short hours we made it to the train station, waiting for the next train to take us as far away as possible. And the farrest possibility was mildura.
We held our bags, my arm around abbeys shoulder, all of us standing in a line. We got some weird stares from people, but there was nothing abnormal at this point.
You could smell every person's blood. Hear there pulse.
It was so hard to control. We kept our fists clenched. The urge I had to sink my teeth in to someone jagular and just suck out every drop of blood was insane. Almost painful.
"Tyler... I can't do this. I need blood" abbey whispered to me. "it's okay. Relax. It's okay." I kept reassuring her even though It was hard for myself.
The gentle breeze blew past us, giving us a wiff of every person's blood here at the same time. Kobies white in her eyes had turned red and her veins were sticking out of her face. She held willows hand and looked at her, "I cant" she said, her sharp fangs being exposed.
Jordy quickly ran over and put her hood over her head, hiding her face. "kobie, we're all struggling. Just chill. I'll figure something out" he said to her quietly. "I'm so hungry" she said shaking. Willow hugged her, abbey walked over and they stood side by side holding hands.
"we can control this" abbey said to kobie and willow. I looked at the ground and clenched my jaw.
"I don't think I'm gonna be able to handle this guys" Connor said. "we have forever to handle it. It's gonna be okay bro" I sat tapping him back. He looked at me and smiled. We heard the train, it wasnt far off.
When it arrived we got on first just so we wouldn't have to be so close to humans. We found seats in the far front of the train, but that didn't help.
"six hours of this? I can't. I have to drink someone" Connor said.
"I have an idea" kobie said whispering something in willows ear. Willow nodded at kobie and they both walked towards the back of the train into further away carriages with smiles on their faces.
Me abbey Jordy and Connor all looked at each other confused. "should we go see what there doing?" abbey asked. "no, just leave them" Jordy said.
I turned around to see willow grabbing a few cups from the dispenser before walking off again. They were up to something and that something sounded tasty.
We sat in our seats for a good 10 minutes with our jaws and fists clenched.
Our eyes widened and turned red, veins out and fangs as we breathed in the scent of pure. Fresh. Blood.
We turned our heads slowly to see kobie and willow walking back smiling.
They both held there jackets over one of there hands. "we fed, no it's time for you guys too" they smiled hanging us a cup of blood each.
"where did you get this from?!" I whisper yelled hiding my cup. "just know we took care of it." willow said.
I held my cup and stared at the blood. It was dark.
Hunger.
Hunger.
Hunger.
I drank the blood in one mouthful squeezing the plastic cup until it snapped.
I sighed and tilted my head back onto the seat. "thank yous" I said with my eyes shut.
"Tyler?" abbey said quietly putting her head on my shoulder.
"I love you" she mumbled before closing her eyes and drifting off to sleep.
"oh no" kobie whispered.
"what?" Jordy asked. "I can smell him" she said.
"huh? Who?!" I whisper yelled. "turn around" she said.
We turned around to see rydian. But no chad. No Antony.
He looked at us. Took a deep breath and then walked faster towards us.
