Tyler's pov
Kobie had told us she had a plan - not only to bring Connor back but to bring Jordy back too. We took her grandpa's old van and had rydian drive, only kobie and rydian knew where we were going.
We'd been in the van for a good 2 hours now. Dead silence.
No body said a word.
Kobie sat in the front next to rydian and turned the music up.
"it's best if we leave further away." she said.
"Antony will find us anyway" rydian said with a lower tone in his voice. "about Antony... You never told us he's your dad" I said. "and what the hell happened to chad" willow said.
"Chad's dead." rydian said. The car went silent again after that. "I don't know why we're driving when we could've just ran. Would've been a million times quicker" Jordy said.
"and get noticed? It's broad daylight you wanker" kobie said. A giggle fell out of my mouth, Abbey looked at me and smiled. "how far are we" willow asked. "nearly here" kobie said.
We got to a small town, it was old and abandoned.
We drove until we found an old mansion. We got out of the car and opened the old fancy gates, walking closer towards the entrance.
Kobie used the door knocker and knocked three times.
"vampires" we heard a voice say from behind us, we jumped startled and turned around.
A boy our age. Black hair and dark brown eyes.
"we mean no harm. We need to talk to you. It's urgent" kobie said.
"no need. I read your mind and I know what you want. Are you really dumb enough to think I'd help a bunch of little blood sucking freaks?" he said.
Tyler glared at him. "your part vampire too mate." he said.
"I... Am I hybrid. I'm more powerful then all of you combined. Don't get to cocky" he said winking at Tyler.
"destin, was it?" kobie said. "how do you know who I am?" he asked. "I have my ways" kobie said pointing her chin up.
"your in with the witches huh?" destin said.
"friends of friends" kobie said. Destin took a good look at all of us. "come inside." he said opening the door.
He poured us all a glass of blood, human blood thank god.
We all sat down on the couches. "so. I see one of you have lost your humanity and your friends want your soul back." destin said handing us our glasses. "that better not be why were here" Jordy said looking at kobie.
"you." destin said slowly walking towards Jordy.
He got on his knees in front of Jordy and looked him in the eyes.
"your not easy to read" destin said.
"you love someone. A girl. In this room. I know exactly who it is too. You still have hope. You can still love." destin said.
"but I'm not helping yous. It's not my problem" destin said.
"destin..." rydian said standing up.
"I'm Antony's son." he finished.
Destin looked at him shocked. "no" he gasped.
Rydian looked at the ground. "he's after us." he said.
"how much do you guys want off me? There's a price for all of this." destin said.
"what's the price?" I asked. "the girl" he said looking at willow. "get stood on as if" abbey said. "then... I want a family member off each of you." he said.
"pfft" I exclaimed.
"guys. Stop. Please, there has to be another eay" kobie said. "I told you guys I don't want my soul back! I feel much better" Jordy smirked.
"you still have a soul." destin said.
"Antony huh? One that made me this way." destin said.
Rydians father turned destin into a hybrid.
We keep learning more and more and everything's starting to piece together.
"well. There's no way to bring your friend back unless he was a werewolf. But... I can help with this situation" he said looking at Jordy.
"your helping us for free now?" I asked.
"rydians with you guys. And his father made me the most dangerous predator in the world. Think of it as a thank you gift." destin said.
"I. Don't. Want. It. Back" Jordy said.
"the only way we can bring him back is if he feels something. And the only way he could feel something is if the one he loves dies." destin said looking at kobie.
"no." willow and abbey said at the same time. "no there has to be another way" willow said.
"he loves her. He needs to feel pain" destin said.
"I don't love her." Jordy said. Destin rolled his eyes.
Kobie had a terrified look planted on her face. "what if he just feels... Love?" I asked. "noooope, I'd rather die" kobie said glaring at Jordy. Jordy rolled his eyes.
Destin dragged Jordy into a cellar filled with lavender plants. He forced Jordy onto a chair and chained him up, locking the cellar.
We all stood looking in at Jordy. He just laughed. "your all so stupid" he smiled.
Destin looked at us. "who wants to go in and try and make him sad first." destin asked.
"I will" I said.
