Jordy's pov
It's good not waking up with a hangover for once. It's good waking up next to no one too.
I walked into the kitchen to see kobie cooking eggs and bacon. "what are you doing? That's not what we eat" I said.
"we've got guests you arrogant fuck." she had her hair in a messy bun and was wearing an over sized grey shirt with shorts underneath. She took the plate of eggs and bacon into the lounge room where an older woman of colour was sitting.
It was just her and kobie in there. "I'm sorry, we can't talk about this here. He's awake and they'll hear. Is it okay if we concentrate on that one tomorrow?" I heard kobie say. My face had a confused look plastered on it. Willow walked into the kitchen yawning. She wore an oversized hoodie that went down to her knees with no pants, her hair a mess. She walked straight past me to get a cigarette off the bench.
"good morning to you too" I said. She flipped me off from behind and walked out the front door with her lit cigarette.
I was bored. Nothing fun was happening. Nothing amusing. But then an idea popped into my head.
Bitches and blood.
I raced out the front door and into town. Walking the streets until I found someone who's blood smelt intreaging. A girl caught my eye.
She had brown hair and brown eyes. Tan skin. Her hair went down to her hips. Nothing special on the outside. But her blood smelt amazing.
She looked me in the eyes and I walked towards her.
"hey" I smirked. "hi" she smiled. "I'm Jordy" I said holding my hand out for her to shake. "I'm Laney" she smiled softly. The twinkle in her eye had me starving. "I know this may be a little fast, but I was wondering if you'd like to come to my place for a few drinks?" I asked.
"you know... I dunno... I'm a bit busy today so uhh" she said. She was stalling. I looked her in the eye. Staring into her soul.
"you are going to come with me. And you are going to obey me" as I said this her pupils went tiny. As if they were almost gone.
The life drained from her face. "I'm going to come with you and obey you." she said dully.
I shrugged. "I didn't know I could do that" I said to myself, holding my arm out for her to link onto. We walked back to the house.
Everyone zoomed to the door with a hungry look on their faces.
"and these are my friends" I said looking at Laney who was now in my trance.
"cool" she said.
"who is this" willow asked, her mouth open and snaring at the human.
"she's mine children. Now move out the way and let me do my thing" I said pushing them. Kobie pushed me back.
"you bring a human near us. You bring a meal for all of us" she said angrily.
"well that's not how it works" I smirked.
"yes. It. Is" she said looking up at me.
"aww. Your so cute when your angry. Now move the hell out of the way so I can have a snack" I smiled.
Kobie groaned and held Laney from behind sinking her teeth into the side of her neck.
Laney stood there staring at me. Kobie looked up at me and wiped a bit of blood of her chin. She quickly sunk her teeth back into Laney. The rest of the clan jumped on to Laney's body drinking her.
"at least save me some" I rolled my eyes. "pathetic" I muttered to myself pouring a glass of red wine. I began to drink, as kobie walked in the room.
"pack your stuff. We're going on a road trip" she said.
"pfft" I laughed.
"we have to find this vampire werewolf hybrid. He's gonna help us bring back Connor. That lady here today? She was a witch. Says the guys names destin." she told me.
She was hiding something.
"is that all that this hybrids taking care of?" I asked.
"yes asshole." she said.
"your lying" I said taking another sip of my wine.
"oh my god I'm not. Do you want to bring back Connor or not" she said.
"Connors gone kobie. He's not coming back. And have we forgotten that Antony is still after us?" I said to her.
"I know." she said looking at the ground.
"and what makes you think a hybrid is going to help a pack of stranger blood suckers without a price?" I asked.
"I know there will be a price. And I'm prepared to pay it. Get ready. We're leaving in an hour" she said.
I rolled my eyes.
