"Come on Grace you and your mom are going to be late" Lena called out to her daughter
Kara ran down the stairs, Her eleven year old on her back
"We're here" Kara said
"Yeah mommy" The Brown haired girl said happily
"Ok now get going you will be late" Lena handed them their lunch.
The two gave Lena a kiss on the cheek and ran out to the car
"You excited to go to mom's school, I might be teaching you" Kara said as she plugged in her daughters seatbelt
"Aw I don't want you to teach me" Grace pouted
"No" Dramatically The blond placed her hand over her chest
The mother got into the front and turned the car on
"Let's go"
One hyper car drive later.....
"Ok go to class, I'll see you at the end of the day" Kara said to her child
The blue eyed girl ran off to meet her friends
A couple other eleven year olds arrived around her "Hey Grace" One said happily
"Sup Toby" She says, Offering finger guns
The bell rang and the children ran to class
Kara went into her class room, The majority of the class was already in
"Hey everyone"
She got a couple of tired responses
"Ok, Welcome to physics, I'm your teacher Mrs. Danvers, physics,physics,physics" She muttered
A couple kids laughed.
"Actually who cares about physics, Let's talk about something else, Anyone got an idea"
"Are you married" A kid asked
"Yes I am, But my personal stays out of this" Kara responded smoothly
"Can we talk about Supergirl" A girl in the back asks
The blond fixed her glasses nervously
"You used to report about her didn't you" Another kid asks
Kara blushed slightly "Yeah I did"
"Tell us about her"
"Ok, Back to physics, Do you guys know the law of gravity" Kara asked her class
They all nod "Good-"
A crash disturbed her, "Ok class, You know the drill, Hide under your desks and don't come out" The teacher said
She quickly ran out, A kid with guns stood in the hallway
"Hey buddy, You ok?" Kara asked gently
The boy pointed the gun at The hero
"They did this to themselves" He yelled
"It's ok, Don't hurt anyone, It's not right, I like to say two wrongs don't make a right" Kara slowly approached the kid
Her ears picked up Her Daughters heartbeat, She was ok, Thank Rao
"No I will kill them" He says pointing the gun at Kara
"What's your name"
"Donald"
"Ok Donald, I'm Mrs. Danvers, But you can call me Kara if you want" Slowly the hero got closer "I teach physics here, You know what's great about physics, It's international, That's why I love it, Tell me something you love?"
Kara was about 10 m away now
"I like Math" He said
"What a great subject"
"Yeah I want to do a masters"
Kara took a deep breath "Well isn't that fantastic, I wasn't the best at math, How about you hand me that gun and we can talk about it"
Slowly the kid handed over the weapon, Once it was out of his grasp, Kara put it on the ground and slid it away
The boy fell into her arms, Kara cupped the boy, He slowly cried into her shoulder, A couple people arrive, They were filming the entire time, Kara gestured for them to call 911
The students obliged, A few moments later The Authorities arrived
Kara let The boy go, She texted Lena to pick Up
It was mostly just a blur after that, Students left fairly quickly.
Knowing everyone was safe, She want to he class and sat down at one of the desks in her class
She paused to think.
A knock on the door Disturbed the blondes thoughts.
A couple of the other teachers walked in, Slowly they clapped, A few cheered, A young child squeezed through them
"MOM" She yelled
Kara lifted up her child "Your safe sweetie"
"I know because Mom is the best" Grace snuggled into Kara
Lena stormed through and punched Kara,
"Ow" The hero faked rubbing her shoulder
"Never pull any stupid stunts like that again, I don't care who you are" Lena said angrily
The blond started to panic "I thought i was doing the right thing"
"Of course you did, You saved an entire school" Lena said kissing Her wife
"Mommy And mom sitting in a tree K-I-S-" there child starts to sing
"Where on This green earth did you Learn that" Lena said
The child shrugged, The family walked out together.
