The Mobians were racing to the rendezvous point as fast as they could run. Unfortunately they camped just outside of the Imperial base to restrategize and got started at midmorning. By the time they reached the rendezvous point, the rebels had already moved to the shield bunker. Once they arrived there, they were late again. The entire strike force was captured.

"Karabast," Shadow said, "we're too late. We've lost."

Knuckles looked up and said, "And the fleet has already entered the system."

"Well, why don't we try to free the prisoners?" Vector asked.

"Hello," said a voice on the opposite side of the clearing, "I say, over there! Were you looking for me?"

"Is that C-3P0?" Espio asked.

"Bring those two down here!" Shouted an officer.

"And R2-D2," Shadow said, "if their trying to kill the stormtroopers, they're definitely going to fail. They aren't assassin droids."

A couple of seconds later they heard a horn blowing. Shortly after, dozens of arrows flew into the clearing.

"What the--" Shadow said in disbelief.

"Imperial forces scattering," Omega said, "optimal time to engage is now."

"Agreed. Let's take the bunker!"

The five leaped into the clearing, weapons firing. They slowly fought their way to the bunker and met General Solo and General Organa.

"You took your time," Han said, "thought you abandoned us."

"We found an Imperial base relatively close by," Shadow said, "We came up with a counter strategy, but now with whatever is helping us, it's a moot point."

"What did they have there?"

"Walkers, speeders, troopers, you know, the basic Imperial base cache."

"Heavy and scout walkers?"

"Unfortunately, yes."

"Take the heavy walkers. Maybe the Ewoks can handle the scouts."

"You got it."

Shadow ran from the bunker and gathered the other Mobians to him. He told them their orders and they headed into the forest. Not to far away, they heard thundering. Knuckles jumped onto the walker's leg and slammed his fist into a leg joint. The walker toppled over. They ran through the woods taking down troopers in all directions. Several speeder bikes flew by.

"I'll deal with them," Shadow said, "You guys deal with the walkers."

He dashed after the bikes. He quickly caught up to the lead bike. He leapt on it to the surprise of the driver, who pulled out a pistol, shortly followed by the rest of the scout troopers.

"Any last words?" Asked the leader.

"Chaos control!" He shouted.

Everything slowed down as they all fired. Shadow got off and, while running through the contingent, shot the engines with his blasters. Time resumed as normal and the blaster bolts slammed into the engines, blowing the bikes up. Once he was back with the others, they received word that the bunker was ready to blow.

"General Solo requested all forces to his position." Espio said. "Curious. Why do you figure?"

"Perhaps the Empire has been routed." Shadow said.

They returned to see Han ordering people back. They looked at the bunker and soon saw a massive explosion.

"It's up to whatever is left of the fleet now." Shadow said.
