Chapter 9 Revised

We finally made our way down the hallway to the steps after I made sure my hair wasn't to bad pulling it up in a ponytail but when I got halfway down the hallway Luke pulled it out
" I like your hair down better " he says with a smile
So l leave it down but run my fingers through it again .
Luke leads the way down the steps and into the living room
Damn this place is huge
" How Many People Do you have living here " I asked Luke
" 9 "
" Holy Cow that's a lot of people " I replied
"Yeah you see the laundry its always full we assigned days to do our laundry Usually it's two of us at a time " he explained as we continued through the living room to
" WOW I love the Kitchen I could really cook in here " I say as we entered it
Luke just chuckled at me

" Have a Seat I'll make us some sandwiches since you didn't eat Breakfast "
He leads me to a chair at the Island / Breakfast Bar
" What would you like "
" A Good Ole Pb &J will do " I tell him
" Grape or Strawberry "
" Um I'm feeling Strawberry today "
" Alright "

Luke makes us some sandwiches and grabs a bag of chips places the food and chips on the island and sits down beside me
And we eat in silence mainly because both of us are hungry .

Once half way through the sandwich I ask " So where is every one "
" All in the media Room right now waiting on us to eat "
" Oh "
" Don't rush Mr Blackbourne wants you to eat and take your time besides you have already met some of us like Silas, North , Me , Gabe , Doc , Mr Blackbourne that's six out of nine " Luke tells me
" Doc as in Sean "
" Yes Silly " he says with a smile
" Who are the other three"
" Victor, Kota and Nathan "he says
" Okay then that's a lot of names to remember " I say

We finished up and he placed the plates in the sink
I grabbed the sponge and washed the dishes up and placed in the drying rack then I wiped down the island

" Do you always clean when your nervous " Luke asked
" Well Yeah I do and you should really see me when I'm extremely nervous I can clean a house in two hours from top to bottom " I tell him
" I bet , and you don't have anything to be nervous about they don't bite , Nibble maybe but bite no " Luke said as he took the sponge out of my hand and then lead me to the media room .

He pushed the door open and the room got quite
Luke took my hand and squeezed it
There was so much testosterone in one room Damn it was suffocating.
I looked around the room and saw some familiar faces then I saw the three I hadn't met yet .

" Ms Roberts "
" Mr Blackbourne " I answered with a smile
" Come have a seat and we will get this meeting started " he pats the seat next to Sean .
So I went over to the seat and sat down
Sean took my hand as squeezed it

" It's okay Pookie we don't Bite "
I laughed so did Luke
Eyebrows rose when we did
" Sorry that's what Luke Said but he added "
" That y'all would Nibble " Luke finish my sentence and I laughed even more
There was several snickers and a few laughs too .
" Alright Ms Roberts " Mr Blackbourne said
I stifled my laugh by putting my hand over my mouth

" Now Pookie don't make give you the Cure for that , We don't need all of us in a fit of laughter " Sean said with a straight face but his eyes held mischief in them

" Oh no we don't want that to happen do we " I reply trying to keep a straight face

" Okay are we done yet" Mr Blackbourne said
" Yes Sir " I replied if I hadn't been looking directly at Owen I would have missed his lip turn up for a millisecond of a smile
