Jess's POV
I couldn't let him do this, he's the only I've got. "I have to. I've been such a bad person to you, I'm supposed to be protecting you but I'm putting you through more trouble." Ricky said, his eyes filling with tears.
"You're the only thing I have. The only person who really knows me and what I'm going through. I love you Ricky, I need you." I said, I was serious. Everything I said was true.
"I love you Jess. I always have and always will do, but I have to do this, for your sake." That killed me.
"If you're so certain, I'll do it too. Because life isn't worth living without you."
Ricky opened his mouth to protest but I quickly kissed him so he couldn't speak, I wanted to do this with him.
Ricky's POV
I didn't let go of her hand on the way there, this was it, no turning back. I didn't want her to do it with me but she was so sure.
"Are you sure?" I asked for the last time. "Yes Ricky, I'm sure" she replied, we were both crying. I didn't want her to do it and she didn't want me to do it either, but we both aren't prepared to face the world without each other.
I'm not afraid of dying, it's inevitable. There's apart of me that wanted this for a long time, the only person stopping me from doing it was Jess. Now here we are, stood on a roof of a building in London at midnight.
"Ready?" Jess asked and I nodded slowly. We stepped up to the edge and faced each other. "I love you Jess" I whispered, "I love you too Ricky." Jess whispered back. Those were the last words we said to each other before jumping off the roof.
A/N:
That's the end of the story. Hoped you liked it, I cried so many times while writing this but I guess I also enjoyed writing it too.
