"You know what's weird?" Felix said out of the blue as he put his pencil down on the library table.

"You," Changbin playfully replied, earning an eye roll from the younger boy.

"No," the Australian answered.

"And I for one think that I'm perfectly normal, thank you very much."

"You're not normal at all," the raven haired boy responded with a small smile.

But Changbin didn't say that to make fun of the taller boy; he said it because it was the truth. Felix most certainly was not normal by any means, because normal people don't speak words of golden honey the way that Felix did. And normal people don't have galaxies implanted in their eyes, or stars dotted across the bridges of their noses, and they most certainly didn't have angelic smiles and a cotton touch like Felix did.

"Let's start this conversation over," the blonde sighed, picking his pencil up again.

He pretended to write a couple of words down on the his notebook paper, then he dropped the pencil once more, like he'd done a minute ago.

"You know what's weird?" He repeated his question, letting his gaze drift to the raven haired boy once more.

And as badly as Changbin wanted to repeat the answer he gave last time, he decided to play along with whatever it was that Felix was doing, and he gave a proper answer that time around.

"What's weird?" He inquired.

"It's weird that I've gotten so close to you," the younger boy stated.

"Why is that weird?" Changbin asked, his brows furrowing ever so slightly as he spoke.

"Because we just met a week ago. Or, well, met again, I think. We met before this, but since I don't remember, it's kind of like I'm meeting you for the first time all over again," Felix explained.

And the older boy had to admit that the younger was right. Even for Changbin, who had full recollection of the time that he and the Australian spent together as children, it did feel a bit like they were starting over and meeting one another for the first time. And at first, that was a bit disappointing to the raven haired boy. Truth be told, when he saw Felix's name and picture on the website, he got excited; and he begged Chan to switch clients with him (which the Australian had absolutely no problem doing). And in a way, the raven haired boy hoped that Felix would instantly recognize him in one way or another. But deep down, he knew that that was just wishful thinking, because they'd gone to high school together for three years, passed each other in the halls on a daily basis, and even had a few classes together...And yet, Felix never recognized him. So, he knew that it was just false hope that he was giving himself.

However, things weren't all bad, because even if Felix couldn't recall their fifty three days together at ages eight and nine; he could recall the feelings. He recognized the calming effect that Changbin's words had, and he recognized the comfortable warmth that the older boy's body gave off, and recognized that feeling of safety that he had whenever Changbin was around. The memories might have been lost, but Felix was sure that those feelings would never fade.

"...yeah, I guess it is," the raven haired boy stated.

"And I honestly don't know what it is about you that makes me feel the way I do," the younger boy rambled on, because he felt like there was words he needed to say, and feelings that he needed to express to Changbin that he hadn't before.

"It's like, I don't know, I just feel...Comfortable with you. Like I can tell you things that I don't normally tell other people. But maybe I'm just talking a bunch or nonsense."
