I could not contain my joy it was literally like I won the lottery or something, I fricken had! Ace. Then the gawd awful dread dawned on me. Leon was right, typical. What does the President want in return?  I guess I'll find out if I attend this secret meeting. I have no idea what to expect. I'll tell the truth I felt butterflies in my stomach for the first time since the test. For good or for bad? I guess time will tell. It always does. I did agree to go to this secret meeting. I will stay true to my word.

"Keep that cheque safe for now," Leon told me.

I'm like, "duh, that is seven mill off course I'll keep the gawd dang cheque safe."

"Do you want me to look after it? I know what you are like. The clumsy magician. One minute it's in yer hand the next its vanished. Vultures," Leon says, "if someone gets a whiff of even a fraction of that number you have on that bit of paper you'll have endless friends. For bads my girl."

I hate when he calls me that! Pet names, ugh it disgusts me.

He knows I am a clutz when it comes to keeping things of value safe. "Yeah," I pass him the cheque. He takes out his leather wallet and places the cheque safely into it. "You look after it. Then if it goes missing I know who to go after." I raise a brow and a semi-smile crosses my face as my arm is akimbo. "Are you parked up somewhere near?"

"Yeah just at the car park," he answers. "Was lucky to get a spot in truth what with all the students and teachers and parents and so on. You'll see it handily enough. Why, where are you going?"

"I have to find Doctor Minerva don't I and give her back this ceremonial gear. Maybe ask her what this secret meeting is all about. I'm in the dark Lee."

"Well don't you go and tell er about your meeting with the President. Nor the cheque. Got it?" Leon asks me.

"I nod my head. Sure, Doctor Minerva already knows I have met with the President and I am near certain she knows I have received a cheque."

"Don't be long Ella."

He walks away from me and I watch him leave. What an ass he has, buns of steel. He has a fancy strut so he does. A mans walk if you will. Broadly shouldered head held high, long confident strides. I see several students rubberneck male and female alike they admire him from afar. There is no finer man. I'm so lucky so I am.

I had no idea where to find doctor Minerva she might be in her office or more likely she might be ready to attend a lecture. So I left my spare ceremonial robes and hat at the reception desk with Minnie. Minnie, she is lovely, she is a little person in a wheel chair but her smile always brightens my day. She has a bit of a reedy voice but that is OK.

"I'm gonna miss seeing you," Minnie says.

"Me and all," I answer. "Will you be sure to give that to doctor Minerva?"

"Of course Ella, may you have a wonderful life."

"Aww, you and all Minnie. God bless," I turn around and walk toward the exit.

I breathed Harvard in one last time and then as I exited the main building I inhaled the air, freedom. It was cold for this time of year. I saw the students come and go I was just one of them. I am going to miss this place a lot. Here had always felt like home for me.

I made my way to the car park. Leon's Supra is a one of a kind and is easy to find, made easier when he tooted his horn.

"You were not long," Leon notes as I get in the car. He was listening to the radio. A bit of rap.

"I did everything I wanted, well, I left the robes of with Minnie. I never saw Mai so I guess we are good to go."

"Where are we going?" Leon asks as he starts up the vehicle.
