Lucia had said very little to me as she led me to the restaurant. It was so fancy so it was. I immediately smelled the food on offer. Never had I been to such a refined place. But I did hear the insane Scottish chef barking out order after order. That was a drawback. But hey, if the food is worth it I can listen to an obnoxious chef.

Veronica Watts sat there and smiled she knew who I was and I certainly knew who she was. Veronica Watts was one of the biggest heroines of mine. If Hwan was my hero on the male side for finding the cure for testicular cancer then Veronica was my heroine. She had found the cure for many an STD. Although she did this with others so I was skeptical as to how much of the credit she took.

She held out her man hand and I shook hers. She had a firm grip so she did. Like a right businesswoman.

"Ella Nijinsky," she said my name with the upbeat yet steely New York accent. Still, she shook my hand. "I was supposed to be here in Boston today. Thought about going to the mall you have. Then I received multiple messages I won't say who messaged me but I was firmly told to come to the Royal and meet your fine self.  Please take a seat." Finally, she let go of my hand.

Lucia intervened in the conversation, "would that be everything ladies?"

"For now," Veronica said and she looked at me with awe for some obscure reason.

"I'm so sorry if I kept you, ma'am, I had-"

"Child, no need to call me ma'am we are not in Tenessee are we. No please call me Vickie."

She was like Doctor Julie Minerva and Madam President they had an intolerable habit of calling me, child. It irked me something rotten.

Veronica Watts was all you would expect from a businesswoman, Expensive suit bodyguard near at hand she had plenty of cosmetic operations and she looked stunning. Made me think about getting silicone implants. Her teeth were perfect, her nose perfect, her wonderous emerald eyes perfect. Had she been touched by an angel? More likely a plastic surgeon who was a master of his/her craft. Why the consultation fee alone would soon eat into that seven million Leon was now protecting.

"Again I-I'm so sorry if I kept you waiting, Vickie. I-I only found out about you five -"

"Oh hush child, for you I would wait all day. You are a very special and I must insist on business before pleasure. I am good friends with doctor Minerva. She has told me everything about you child."

I reckon Vickie is good friends with a lot of powerful individuals. Who are these people? I found myself asking as Vickie continued to talk. I lost track of what she was saying so I paid her a nod of the head a little raise of the brow would suffice as well.

"Now then," Vickie said, she caught my attention.

We were then interrupted by the waitress. She was a perp little one a bit smaller than me. She looked classy in this classy establishment. "Can I get you, ladies, a beverage?"

"Why yes," Veronica said, "It's a Friday after all, is it, yes oh gosh look at me I don't even know the date."

"Its a Friday ma'am," the ever so classy waitress said.

I went ever so quiet. Shadows made more fuss.

"I think I might treat myself to a small G and T, what about you child?" Vickie looked at me.

"Oh it is a bit too early for me," I said.

"Nonsense," Vickie insisted. "Can you get us two large G and T's if you please?"

"Certainly ma'am."

"Anyway child, shall we go and powder our nose?"

"Oh, I really don't need to go -"
