TMNT Ninja Tribunal

Chapter 6

Fire awoke with a sudden jolt. The sun was high up in the light blue sky, and the gulls cried over head.

" Shit!" She yelled as she looked up at the sun. It must be mid day by now.

Getting up and nearly tripping several times, she brushed the sand off of her, tied her hair up and began to ran.

I hope training hasn't started. She worried.

Jumping up onto a near by boulder, she took on her bird form and flew off into the sky. Instead of heading back to her room, she decided that her daggers and firebending would be enough.

Leo stood overlooking the ocean. The color was a bright green mixed with a blue. Everyone had shown up for training except for Fire and the Ninja Tribunal.  Today Cheekra would be teaching them.

"Woah!" Mikey said. " Look." Leo turned to see what was the matter. Mikey was pointing at the sky. Leo looked up and saw a giant red and orange bird heading straight towards the group.

"Um? Is that part of training?" Joy asked. The bird itself was scary looking. It looked as though it's wings were nothing but fire and it's tail was three fire whips. As it got closer,  it's body was the a little bit bigger than Adam, and Adam was huge. The feathers on it's head were also fire looking. It had long sharp claws looked menacing.

Raph reached for Bon Rye, the weapon he was given by the Forge, and his chi lite up through his body.

" Get ready." Raph warned. Everyone grabbed their weapons and held them ready to attack.

"But your weapons down!" Ancient One yelled at them." The bird will not attack unless told to do so."

"How do you know?" Donny asked.

" Do you remember nothing from last night?" Ancient One asked from where he sat.

" What?" Mikey asked.

" Just watch." He replied.

Everyone turned to watch as the giant bird flew closer to them. As it came in for a landing, it's legs outstretched to the ground, it's body combusted into flames and in the midst of the fire, the creature changed into Firewing. She stepped down onto the ground and patted away some of the flames in her hair.

" Sorry I'm late." She spoke in a sweet voice like always. " What?" She asked concerned when she noticed everyone starring at her.b Then she thought about the transition from bird to human in front of them. " Oh. Heh..... Sorry."

" Cool!"Adam yelled. " How did you do that?"

" I told you, her power is the Phoenix." Ancient One said with a smirk.

" Wow." Mikey said.

" Has training started?" Fire asked, wanting to get the subject off of her.

" No not yet." Foragie replied.

" No one's come to even get us." Tora said, looking around.

"Huh?" Fire said looking deep in thought. Her eyes then show with something wild, she turned to look at Ancient One.  " Do you think maybe they found an Artifact?"

The reason why everyone was here was to find three mysterious Artifacts and keep them from coming together.

" It could be possible. " He said looking deep in thought. " If so, prepare yourselves. "
